This has made trimming our puppy's toenails so much easier! It's a sturdy hammock that we hang from a clothing rod with the puppy in it. It's well-made and sturdy, and supports his weight (around 16 pounds) just fine. You'll want to make sure your dog is securely fastened into the harness, though, and it's probably a good idea to have a second person to spot and help out if your dog is squirmy like mine; he did escape once when we weren't paying close enough attention, and it was scary when he hurled himself out of this thing. Don't make that mistake! Otherwise, this is a really helpful device and is something I'd recommend for sure.

Other then the strap that goes over the dogs back its not long enough the grooming hammock works great

Have a dog that goes from Bambi to Cujo when it's time to do her nails.She wasn't happy about being in the sling, but it allowed me to get her nails done with no bloodshed.Since there isn't a good spot inside the house to hang the sling from, I also bought a deer gambrel to attach to a ceiling beam, then attached the sling to the crossbar. That allowed me to easily winch her up to a good work-height.Would have liked to buy just the sling, without the nail clippers, etc., as I have several pairs of better clippers, and a nail grinder already.

This is advertised to be used for cats and I did not find it to be true. Our 13-lb. cat could slip out in no time flat. There was NOTHING wrong with the construction, or the quality of the product.While the product didn't work for our situation, the seller was fantastic about issuing the refund for us. I would give that 5 STARS.

Have a fairly large dog 61lbs, and cutting her nails was impossible. Would take 3 people to hold her and not any fun for her or us. Took a little finagling to get her in the sling and once in she was ok with it and the nail cutting. Did not mind at all. I bought an 8:1 rope pulley system to lift her with. I have a chain hoist but it is noisy and the chains banging her in the head is probably not pleasant. It seems well made, sturdy enough for her weight. Large enough she is not cramped about the legs. She seemed very comfortable, not anxious at all. I intend to do her anal glands also, cost me $35 every month and a half at the animal hospital. Not a pleasant job but very necessary with her.

Our dog is 36lbs but very long and skinny. We bought the medium and she did not fit at all. We tried it every way just in case we were putting it on her wrong and it just didn’t fit her so we couldn’t use it and missed the return window. Sucks it’s useless now.
