Your cart is empty. Developed by a veterinarian, Purrdy Paws vinyl nail caps glue on to your cat's nails. This amazing American Made product blunts your kittys' nails to protect against problem scratching such as:
- Damage to Household Surfaces, Floors, Doors, Screens, Walls and Furniture
- Protects You and Your Family from Scratches
Application is simple:
1) Try on the nail cap, without glue, to ensure a proper snug fit.
2) If you have any sizing concerns please stop and contact us.
3) Fill each nail cap 1/3 of the way full then slide the cap on.
4) Observe your cat for 5 minutes and you're done!
Each application lasts approximately 4-6 weeks until your cat naturally sheds their nail. The nail caps are safe and non-toxic even if accidentally swallowed!
Cat Size Guidelines:
Kitten Size: (Less than 6 months old)
These will fit most kittens by the time they reach the age of 12-16 weeks.
Small: (Approximately 6 months old - Approximately 6-8 pounds)
Small-boned adult cats or large kittens often wear the small size.
Medium: (Approximately 9-13 pounds)
Most adult average size cats wear medium.
Large: (Approximately 14 pounds and up)
Very large-boned and large-breed cats wear large.

These are great for my kitten as he learns what he’s allowed to scratch and protects my hands as well. A great alternative to declawing. I have had no issues with these. The glue does get a little sticky after one use though.

Yes, I was asked this question the other day by several people who saw my cat at a gathering. They had never seen claw covers before. The covers also make my cat look very elegant. Now when she kneads me I don't have to pull myself off of the ceiling, throw the cat, cry or yell. They are very soft and spongy... and the sparkly violet color is awesome.I have to confess that I am new at putting them on the cat (get them on 1 time out of 3), but my daughter in law can get all 10 on with no problems (10 out of 10) in about 5 minutes. The glue that comes with them is very good and the covers stay on for about 2 weeks (my cat is a nail biter and tugs at them sometimes). The cat has not damaged any of my furniture while wearing them. I'm glad that I started putting them on her before she was 6 months old.The only negative I can think of is that they don't put themselves on.I think they are a bargain... much cheaper than new furniture and takes the pain away from playing with your cat.

We have a pet groomer who trims our cat's claws once a month. She recommended this brand of soft nail caps. They have been great and are more reasonably priced than some other brands.

These are considerably less expensive than the ones from Big Pet, but they don’t seem to stay in place quite as long. I really like the variety though.

Sir Catticus Paw-StiNoble was not a fan. He sat right in front of me as he chewed and clawed each red rubber tip off..I think he even spit one at me once. He warned me if I tried to stop his murder mittens with super glue and silly rubber tips again; he would un-alive me in my sleeps. Oh well, the Hooman LOVED the idea and had hoped these would work….but kitty said it’s a BIG NO for him and a 0/10 would not recommend.
