This ceramic heater does a good job keeping smaller spaces warm. Its not going to heat a large coop or garage sized space. The heater itself seems to be well made and I'm impressed with the quality. I really like that the controls can be locked so that they can't be adjusted in accident. A longer cord would be nice but the included cord is heavy duty.

I placed this heater inside of an outside insulated cat house. You can control the temperature. Had to actually turn it way down because the heater, heated up the cat house fast and high temperature. Outside 28ยฐ inside the cat house is a constant 65ยฐ.

Great heater to put inside a doghouse, because all the electrics are protected from meddlesome dogs. The heater locks securely inside the case. The heat is convection only but good output.Didn't work well for our use case this time, but I would loved to have had this years ago with other dogs and dog houses!

This thing is not worth the money at all. Even my husband says this thing barely has heat come out even at the highest setting. my poor dogs were just freezing. On top of that after it was being used for several days my dogs chewed through the black protective cord cover. Not happy at all with this heater.

The feral cat we take care of gets scared quite easily, but this is silent and puts out a decent amount of heat. It keeps the enclosure around 50 degrees when its around 30 degrees. It's supposed to get down into the teens this weekend, so we'll see how it keeps up. I guess I can always add a second one if need be.

Bought this heater for my goats and pigโs house after a fire due to a heat lamp falling and catching the shavings on fire. (Thankfully everyone was okay.)The heat output does not compare to the standard red heat lamps. It is a little difficult to mount due to the strange mounting brackets. A template would make it much easier. The locking door is a nice safety feature.

I bought two of these for a tortoise house I had built. One would have worked but since the house is big, two worked better for 8โx10โ and 5โ high house. My tortoises are toasty at night now and since it has been colder they donโt want to leave the house at all.

This doesnt throw enough heat for any outdoor pet house. I have a small chicken coop. I got this because two od my chickens are molting and its 18 degrees out. I set it up let it run for several days, it only went up 3 degrees inside. Might be ok for areas that dont get really cold but if you're in an area like that you don't really need a heater anyway
