I’m giving 4 stars just because furniture stairs of this height are hard to come by. I searched high and low and measured and hemmed and hawed and measured again. My master king is super high. So unless you live in a mansion, you run short of floor space for the length/height you need. I searched and compare and measured and mocked up every option. This was one of only two options that would work in our space. It’s compressed foam soooo…. Once the cats out of the bag so they say….i really hopped it was gonna be the right set for us because there’s NO WAY i could have figured out how to get this boxed back up and returned if need be. It IS easy peasy to set up though. Instructions are to let it fully expand before you let your pet use them BUT OF COURSE we had to try out of the box. My ten lb shorkie caught on in no time.He now has it figured it out so good that he makes it up them so fast, hee kicks the wedge shaped component out of the equation while he runs and jump with the tolerance of millimeters. Which brings me to my only critique. They are not stable at ALL. If your baby is reckless you’re gonna have to rig it to be more stable which wasn’t really hard to figure out, but the components still won’t stay together. The mechanism it came with to attempt this is 1970s Velcro, not the good new velcro that clicks together. For 130 bucks i REALLY wish this was engineered a bit better…. Im still kicking this thing together 15 times a day. My dog Tike can make it up with just the large piece but i don’t want him hurting his back. That was the whole point. Overall though they are an absolute game changer for the pup. It was starting to frustrate him having to get lifted up and down from the high bed. This gives him way more independence , i know he really likes them and it’s super cute to watch him look like he’s dropping off the side of the bed. As far as looks go, im convinced this is the best looking option out there. Figure out how to firmly attach these to the side of your bed and you’ll have exactly what you need.☺️

Our 30 lbs. puppy uses this to get on to the bed. Works very well. Took a day to get hard after opening the package. Our steps are 29 inches high. Just high enough for the bed.

My female Sheltie is shorter than most and our Sleep Number bed is just a bit taller than the previous bed so we bought this. She caught on to going up & down the stairs the first day. She’s very confident using the stairs so we’re delighted with it. For the toe hitters you won’t hurt your toes if you bump this either.

UPDATE...the seller did contact me and gave me a full refund. They apologized for the inconvenience, which made the situation 100% better. I felt satisfied after speaking with them and realized they do care.I looked for months to find the perfect stairs for my dog. I hesitated even longer about spending $100. I was so excited when it finally came and I was unpacking the box. I read the instructions and let it be for 24 to 48 hours. I even had patience like the paper said. Five days after I unpacked it I decided, I had enough patience. It did not inflate to the size description. Today, I finally put it by my bed and am so disgusted that I wasted 100.00 on this product. The back part where you can insert the little piece flops over and it leans back. I have to put the insert in for it to be upright. I wanted that piece, like in the picture, so my dog could start climbing from the floor. I am sure all the patience in the world wouldn't help this product. I would love to send it back but have no way of squishing it down to go back in a box. I have attached pictures to show the amount of fabric left over after a week of letting it inflat to size. If I could leave zero stars I would!!

I was skeptical when they arrived that they would puff up to the size advertised but they did. They’ve been in use for a while now for my 15 year old dog, to help her get down and around the bed and we love them.

I Love it!!! My Bugz is old, small & as dense as a box of rocks. It has taken me a little over 24hrs to teach him that he Must Use It so he doesn't hurt himself, bcuz he still thinks he can fly! My beds height is 31in, a perilous height for him. The configurations available with this item have made it the Perfect fit for myself & my dog. Covers come off easily to launder them & go back on just as easy. Sturdy & well made. It comes with a pkg of Velcro pieces to attach/detach pieces. One of the blocks can also be used as a dog/cat/other critter bed. The underside of each piece has non skid material, while the upper material is a nice soft critter friendly material. Please do launder all the block covers before using. Practice with all the different configurations you can make that best suits your critters needs. Reasonably priced, a great value for sure! The versatility, the mobility... Chefs Kiss!!!

This is a nice quality dog stair, but not 30” high. Closer to 26” . It’s going to be really hard to compress it to return : (
