This stake is easy to install with a drill, and the quality of both the stake and cable exceeded my expectations. I use it for my goat when she’s in the unfenced portion of my yard, where she loves to graze on fresh grass. She’s a heavy Nigerian Dwarf, but this stake holds her securely and keeps her safely in my yard. It comes with all the necessary tools for easy installation and is built to last. Highly recommend!

Sturdy, strong, tangle free, easy to install. Comes with a drill attachment for hard ground but I didn't need it. Works well in different types of soil.

Keeps the pup safe! This tie out is a the description of building a better mousetrap! The stake has a spade style stake that allows the fins to screw into the ground (either manual or with a tool) and gives more security than just the standard straight corkscrew design that easily pulls out. Tie out swivels so the dog can go a full circle without getting tangled ( at least in the tie out itself.) Lead is short- but you could always add a longer one of you wanted. We just came back from camping with out heeler and this held him with no issue (about 45 lbs). Easy one easy off and we could disconnect and use the lead as a leash if we needed. Great product!

Nicely made unit, the cable is about 10' which hopefully helps contain your dog. We have an overactive 50# Goldendoodle and this works fine. I'm not sure about a larger or stronger dog, the depth may be a bit shallow. The power tool installation adapter is nice, it really helps and makes it easier. Since this goes down 12" or so, please make sure you are clear of sprinkler lines.. I don't think I would trust this item in beach sand, not enough penetration or wide enough auger.

The install of the tie out stake is quick, but just letting you know the cord it comes with is very short so I had already ordered a longer cable to add on to this one. Make sure you get it low enough into the ground. Once installed, expect for it not to move at all.

This is a well thought out design. The anchor comes with 2 wrenches; one to hand screw it into the ground, and the second is for using a drill. The top connection point swivels 360 degrees to prevent line tangling.I have a hyper 60lbs puppy (blue heeler mix) that put it to the test and the anchor successfully prevented him from breaking lose to tackle-hug the small children across the street. He also tested the swivel section by running in circles at full speed for about 5 minutes (he was dealing with a case of the zoomies). So it works well. The cable that came with it is only about 10ft- so keep that in mind when purchasing. The cable does feel a bit thin- it would be fine for a 60lb dog- but you might want something a little thicker if you have a chunk of a dog with a stubborn personality.I plan to keep the anchor in my front yard to see how it holds up long term in the elements.

I was looking for a way of containing our dog without holding his leash constantly. It's the perfect solution - easy to install and hassle free.

It works excellent and gives plenty of room for my dog to enjoy his backyard. Keeps him away from places I'd rather he not go.
