I have a 80 pound Newfipoo, an Australian shepherd, a 4month old and 2 adult chihuahuas. I had low expectations the chihuahuas would use this, however my 4mth old walked right up drank water immediately. My Newfipoo did as well and no water on the floor. The other 3 well, My one chihuahua won’t be able to reach unless he climbs in, the other 2 are afraid of it. They will not even walk near it. It does make a metal on metal sound when floating plate hits the side of the bowl, for timid dogs this is an issue. Smaller dogs will have difficulty reaching over to get water depending on their build. My pups vote 2/5 but The goal was to keep the water in the bowl with the Messy drinker. Anti-slip pads on the bottom, nice sturdy stainless steel has weight and Washed easily. All of which I appreciated. 5 stars for this dog mom.

Our dogs love the water bowl as long as it doesn't have the "floating top" on it. The floating top doesn't fit to the bowl and moves around a lot and does not work as it is supposed to. We just set it up as a very big water bowl. It holds a lot more water than our other bowl for our two dogs, so in that aspect, we like it. There are no real instructions, so putting it together is hard. It is easy to clean though. Because our dogs love the water bowl's water capacity, we like it, but I can't rate it any higher due to the difficulty with the top piece.

I got this bowl because my dogs drink water so fast that they will get sick and they make a mess all over the floor. This bowl is great. The bowl keeps my dogs from drinking so fast they get sick. The floating top has a small little area that water fills and allows the dogs to get water and not bury their snouts in the bowl. This makes the water that drips from their snout to the floor minimal. I went from having to mop the floor because their was so much water on the floor to just using a paper towel to clean up. So if you have dogs that drink too fast and get sick this is the bowl for you. It has a large compacity and looks good too. Highly recommended.

Our German Shepherd puppy loves to play with her water, making a huge mess! As long as we keep this bowl topped off, it seems to have slowed her playing. The free floating part does sink a bit though. So we’ll see long term how it works. It is a sturdy bowl, which we like

This water bowl is a lifesaver for my messy pup! The no-spill design really works, and the slow water feature helps reduce splashing and slobber. The stainless steel is high-quality and easy to clean, plus the non-slip base keeps it in place. It holds plenty of water, so I don’t have to refill it constantly. If you have a dog that makes a mess while drinking, this bowl is a must-have!

The float started sinking because water got in it somehow. That happened within a week.
