They are very small and all the pieces are plastic would be ok for sand but that's about it

These are perfect for lightweight use in an eight inch gold pan. The three different sized screens snap in and out easily for different sizes of classifying materials. Also they fit inside a backpack for when you’re out prospecting instead of panning in a known location

It is 5 of the same set, I thought it was going to be several different sizes of sifting mesh, but it is 5 of the holders 5 of the larger, medium and small sifters. Originally purchased to use with my meal worms, and works OK, but smallest sifter just doesn't really sift anything...
