I think this will work once I tinker with it by drilling matching holes in the pole of my old tree for the wing bolts to go in through. It might work another season or two. If you are buying the bud to replace a broken stand on an artificial tree in the USA, beware that the pod is substantially smaller than most standard posts on trees sold, and that it ships from China and will take about 6 weeks to arrive. It seems to be fairly sturdy besides the size issue, so I think I can make it work.

This is not for an average sized tree. The diameter of the hole for the tree is very small. My 5ft tree would not fit in this. Also, it is already rusted on the inside so it is being returned.
