I installed this about 3 months ago. My oil drain plug was always a little wet from a very small leak. I crawled under there today, working on something unrelated, but I looked over and now my oil plug is bone dry. So, this works great.

These washers do the job for sealing the drain plug on aftermarket oil pans for my Dodge Nitro (similar to Jeep Liberty) with 3.7L V6. Package of 6 is a fair value. Arrived quickly.

I started using these after a bought a used vehicle with a deep scratch in the machined surface of the oil pan. I imagine someone used a tool of some type to remove a stuck drain plug gasket, and wasn't careful.I couldn't get the drain plug to seal up so I tried these as a last ditch effort before buying a new oil pan. To my pleasant surprise, these sealed the leak and I've always kept a few on hand ever since.Not a con, but these are a single use item, so buy a few!

These oil seals work very well. You don't have to crank the drain bolt very tight. The seal is what keeps it from leaks
