Your cart is empty. The original equipment window regulator is riveted in place and requires a specialized rivet gun to replace. This Dorman OE FIX replacement uses threaded hardware to speed up the installation process, saving time and money.

20 dollars less than identical item (dorman) at Oreillies. Perfect fit for 08 E-350. YouTube made it a one hour install. Works perfect.

Pretty nice replacement, i easily found a you tube video that helped with the steps.Bolts included replace rivets and make installation quite straightforward. My first time, it took less than 1 hour.Works smoothly is quiet and responsive/ quick. I really like it.Saying that there's only a few very small things I'd have liked. 1st) a drill bit suitable to drill out old rivets, 2)my nuts and bolts kit was great but missed a small wire tie to secure cable assemblies away from mechanism, and 3rd,I thought (maybe it was a competator but) advertising said the glass would fully retract to be flush inside the door.... (for resting your arm on the flat when the window is open) but it doesn't in my case...sticking up a couple inches.(Actually in my rv it's kinda too far away to rest my arm there long anyway...I'm 6'1").It's far better than a taped close driver's window. A good replacement if it lasts!

This unit came with full hardware for installation as my door’s unit was riveted. It is a quality piece that is now firmly mounted and works like the factory unit. It is a direct replacement and I had. No issues with the installation. Recommend this as a replacement product.

Ford E350 use 3/16 inch punch to get center of rivet out then drill with 1/4 inch drillbottom screws on track are too longTrim back using grinder to take off pilot bolt extension plus 2 threads making the bolts 1/2 inch long. Just did that and the window now goes all the way down.

The fit is great but the bottom two bolts need to be shortened. They prevented the window from going all the way down.Good product. Easy to install.I'm ordering another regulator for the right side.

Liked that it worked well.Would have liked instructions to add tips for getting the window to open completely. It was easy enough to find on the internet, and I’m happy I didn’t put the panels back on the door before finding out how to get it to close properly ( or all the way down).Only an issue because it used bolts for the attachment assembly.

This should come with some kind of grinding wheel for a Dremell (or some rotary tool) to remove the original rivets. VERY difficult to remove original rivets, but the actual install was pretty easy because the supplier has thrown in nuts and bolts as a replacement for those dang rivets. The center of the factory rivets is a very hard steel. We had to chip away the outer holding part of the factory rivet to get them out. That factory center part of the rivet never even scratched. Those were HORRIBLE.

I liked the ease of installation with pre-threaded mounts and supplied hardware, but very disappointed when it did not allow the glass all the way down. Luckily I spotted another reviewer's comment that its bottom bolts are too long.I'm very disappointed not to get a response from my email to Dorman's Customer Service "contact us."

Wanted to clear up some review confusion. I've been using Dorman products for over 30 years with great success and I'm very pleased with this drivers door replacement window regulator. Dorman does supply all needed bolts and nuts (No Rivets which you do not need anyways) except for the 2 correct length bottom track bar bolts. If you use the supplied bolts to secure the bottom track bar, the window will not roll all the way down. However, if you have the ability to cut 3/8" off of the supplied bolts, the window will then roll all the way down. Or instead, make it easy and buy 2 M6-1.00 bolts and use in place for the supplied 2 bottom track bolts and you'll never know this is not a factory ford part - it rolls all the way down, fits and operates perfectly! Oh ya I almost forgot to say, the rest of the supplied bolts and nuts work perfectly in all the other locations and are way better then those silly rivets!

If you read the descrition it says mounting hardware is not included so i waited a couple of days for some rivets to install the unit. Upon opening the box pnce i got thr rivets i found nuts and bolts to mount ir. Okay, but once i began installing one of the weld nuts would not accept the bolt but would strip it instead. I ground off the nut, drilled the hole larger and used a rivet instead.2 of the openings had to have rivets also. Workable but frustrating.
