I have 200KM on my 2001 CRV and the driver side window is having a hard time going back up. Check a few places and found Dorman to have good window regulator. Installation is straight forward and all the parts fits like OEM. I had to lubricate the window channel because I notice some difficulties pulling the glass up when I detached the regulator. I recommend cleaning the window tracks and channels with a cloth wrapped around a stick. You will find lots of debris buildup. Then spray some silicone Water-Guard in the tracks. Yes, you heard me right, Silicone Water-Guard where people use it to spray their shoes for water and stain repellent. One of the best lubricant for window track. Let's hope this will last another 200KM. Cheers!

Could have been packed better with some padding. Otherwise works great. Bought the passenger side for my 2001 crv. works great! Easy to install.

Replacement for my 2000 Honda CRV Window regulator. Couple years ago on a real cold, yet humid day, I went to start my car and my windows were fogged/iced up. I thought rolling the window up and down a couple of times might help, but it was too cold and they were frozen solid and the regulator motor made a horrible noise and never worked again.Been rolling around ghetto, with my window taped up for a couple of years now... figured it was a shop repair and I had no money and no time. But I'm on a little staycation, figured I might try and do it myself... ordered the part from Amazon. It was a perfect fit, came with a couple of its own bolts so I only had to use a couple from the old ones...and to my amazement it only took me about an hour and a half. No idea how much I saved over the shop cost, but I'm sure it was significant. The tracks were pregreased (I added some lithium grease anyway, but I appreciated that it was a superfluous step) and everything worked just like the original version. And now I know not to try and roll down the window on a frozen day until after the car has warmed up and thawed out.

This is actually a very well made unit and the hardware is very comparable to the OEM part I removed in terms of overall quality (weight, metal thickness, individual component fitment/tightness). Dorman stuff is really hit or miss, mostly miss, but this is an exception. This bolted right up to all factory holes with zero clearance issues. It works very smoothly and much quieter than my original motor and regulator, which were working intermittently and slowly, and were bone dry. This new part is liberally greased and operates really smoothly.Tip: get a spray can of silicon lubricant with the little red straw tip attachment, and lubricate the rubber window tracks liberally while the window is out. Mine were bone dry and making the window drag and caused lots of extra noise, and I think this contributed to the motor tiring out prematurely (it would have anyways due to corrosion--the waterproofing of the meeting point between the window and door on first-gen Honda CRVs is virtually nonexistent).Time of job: an hour or so, but I've had my door panels off a few times before for a speaker install and a power lock actuator replacement, so I'm very familiar. A careful, nervous novice won't need more than a couple hours.Your Honda dealership will likely charge you upwards of 400 bucks for this job, and a private shop would maybe charge 100-150 less. Do this one yourself. It's honestly that easy.

Since my 'V' is over 14 years old, the windows have been moving up and down much slower than they used to. The driver's side front was the worst of all and many times would slow down and stop right in the middle of rolling up. I would have to help it up by pushing on the window while holding the window button. I tried lubing the guides to no avail and figured 14 years is sufficient time to replace the motor and regulator.I'm not going to review the ease of installation since that really is based on user experience, however I will say that the part looked nearly identical to the OEM part I pulled out of the window. The bolt holes all lined up and everything fit exactly as expected. The only down side was that the door clip in the middle of the wire wasn't in the exact same position as the OEM one. It was easy to fix; it's held on with a zip tie. I used a small screwdriver to loosen the zip tie, moved the door clip to the right position and then tightened back. (To me no loss of stars for that!)Installation took around 30 minutes but may vary depending on your skill set and how comfortable you are with taking the door panel off and removing the old part. After installation I used some liquid wrench silicone lubricating spray. Window now flies up and down (faster than all the other windows) and is much quieter than before.Price was much better than my local parts store (even with a coupon) and a fraction of the price that Honda wants (you have to purchase the motor and regulator separately) for everything.

Perfect fit on my crv, only little thing was the zip tied wire mount was zipped about a half inch too short down the wire but a little stretch and it installed quickly and works awesome

This REALLY beat the price the dealer quoted for official Honda parts (you have to buy the regulator and motor separately) and if you are reasonably handy you should be able to install it in a couple of hours. Just look on the next for information on getting the door panel off and replacing the regulator and pay attention to not letting the window just drop. It took me under two hours to get the old one out and install it in my 2000 CRV and I did not rush. The bolts are all 10mm.The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars was that it does not sound as smooth as I would expect (it makes a clicking sound). There does not seem to be anything else to lubricate (it comes well-lubricated) and its reasonably fast and the window closes properly so I do not think that it is binding or anything.
