It works but I must tell the first thing it reads slightly high between 1/4 and 1/3 of a quart compared to the original, which, in my opinion is very acceptable. The other is the gauge steel they used on the steel part of the dipstick is much thinner than original equipment. I don’t know if this will affect anything or is the cause of the dipstick reading, slightly higher for the money I’m giving it a go just keep an eye on it for a while

Snapped my dipstick handle off. Was able to remove the old with a color pencil and super glue. This was a direct replacement. Look and fit was identical. 2000 jeep grand cherokee.. I would imagine this will work fine for just about any 4.0 straight six.
