Fit the intended application and was easy to install. Went with Dorman because of the trusted name. OEM is no longer available due to cars age.

Clutch Master cylinder installed in an 1985 Nissan 300ZX. A little tight under the dash, but the installation went without a hitch. A suggestion might be adjust the push rod as close as possible to avoid a second trip under the dash to adjust after bleeding.

The clutch master cylinder on my 280ZX has been a bit wonky over the last year. It would work fine for weeks, and then suddenly the clutch wouldn’t release until the pedal was almost to the floor. So it was finally time to bite the bullet and replace it. Since many parts for a 44 year old car are tough to find, I was surprised to find a replacement on Amazon. It fit perfectly, but needed a few turns on the attachment to take up the slack. It took quite a lot of pumping to purge out all the air, but it works just like new. Getting up under the dash to adjust the engagement point and insert the pin were the toughest part of the installation.

Worked on my 280zx. Replace both slave and master at the same time. Against mu better judgment one blew 6 weeks after the other.

This part fit my car perfectly and was easy to install. The only issue is you really need 2 people to bleed a clutch. :D

So, the cylinder was fine. The problem cam in that the included link rod was the wrong length to work on my 1978 datsun 210. Do make sure to keep your old rod and compare the length carefully. In my case a minute of welding the new stirrup link to the old one made it all work fine. Beyond that, for a cheap Chinese cylinder it seems reasonably well made and does the job.
