Retainer clip wont stay in allowing cylinder to pop out because of improper machining on the notch it seats in.

Fit as expected on '84 CJ-7 Base. As stated, keep the plastic cone piece on the old one for use on the new one.

Don't forget the little plastic piece on the end or the clutch will not work. You'll have to reuse it from your old one.
