I hate to write negative reviews but this item has some issues. As many have said…don’t expect a double din head unit to fit. You will be cutting this piece (a lot) to make the head unit it fit. At one point, I was thinking if I knew it was going to require this much cutting I should’ve just modified the original part and saved $47. Based on your skill/experience you may also have some rough edges which spoil the look of the finished installation. I had to buy some black adhesive trim to make the install look better. The wiring harness also didn’t fit my radio so I had to buy another actual radio harness adaptor to make it work. Lastly, the raised bosses for the climate control module wasn’t threaded with the same pitch or thread size as the factory screws. So I had to find new screws that worked. On the positive side…the part does look factory and it does snap in to the stock dash nicely.I’m happy with the finished product…but it was a project.

Lo mejor fue el trato con el proveedor. Todo muy bien, Compatible para un Jeep Liberty 2007. Lo quise para un reproductor de pantalla de 7" pero no quedó (el problema es del aparato, no del adaptador).

So I failed to read the comments and guidelines on this product thinking it was a great deal with the aftermarket antenna and stereo adapter. So I never had to dremel excess plastic behind the dash, but I did have to dremel the bezel itself just to get the double din stereo installed with a decent fit. Doesn’t mount completely flush but I managed to make it work. I also failed to notice the stereo wiring adapter was bundled with rcas for the speakers. This made the aftermarket stereo install the most difficult! I really should have just returned it and got my 50 bucks back but was too impatient having all my other components ready for installation. My best advice is to get a metra kit for ten bucks cheaper and purchase accessories separately for easy installation.

If you want to do this make sure you know what you are doing or have a professional do it it’s kinda ruff to do and I took a good chick out of my finger getting some of the metal you need to remember to get the new radio in

Great fit, looks good in the jeep, and fits a sony xav-ax100 head unit. You will have to trim plastic dashboard structure to fit a double din unit. I also had to mess with the retaining clip for the hazard swich, it interfered with the top of the head unit. Not the fault of this kit though. The wiring harness was almost plug and play to my head unit. The Sony does not have RCA input jacks, but its nice that the harness provides those as an option. I had to cut them out and solder to the sony harness directly. Antenna adapter was perfect. The one thing I wish this kit would do differently is to provide metal brackets to mount the head unit to the dash where the original stereo was mounted, and not to the bezel. The weight of the head unit pulls the bezel down a bit from the top edge, and puts what looks like a lot of strain on the bezel itself.

This made the installation almost pain free. The bezel and mounting hardware were perfect. The AM/FM adapter was perfect too.The ISO adapter harness, not so much. Really not sure where they were trying to go with it.But anyone who can't get around that minor issue shouldn't be doing this anyway.
