I have an old gas stove and the top was caving in. I did not want to spend on another stove so I got this. This was the best solution. This cooktop is easy to operate with regular US outlet. The top is completely flat, which makes it easy to clean and wipe. I also take this camping in the woods. It save me from starting a fire. It must be an induction pan to work. It comes with a magnetic so you would know if the pan works or not. It seems durable. Would recommend

And so glad I did. It heats up soooooo fast…great control of temp. Best of all it works with my enameled cast iron, regular cast iron and a few of my all clads. I didn’t have to buy new pots. The package includes a tester magnet to determine which pots work with it. Used it on the fly for a gathering and it worked great—user friendly. Yay been waiting years to buy one and for the price, I’m a happy host!

I'm pretty happy with this. A lot of the other ones that I tried were unnecessarily large in size. Also a lot of the other instructions were not intuitive, as were this one I feel is very intuitive to use.

The first time using this cooktop almost resulted in a fire after the cooling fans failed to come on. I was cooking pancakes when the unit shut itself off after about five minutes. An error code appeared on the display, which I think was 01. I unplugged the unit and plugged it back in to try resetting it. The unit never came back on but was still getting very hot, even on the bottom and sides of the cooktop. Never once did I hear the fans come on. I returned ths defective product, and I’m still waiting for a refund. I may have to contact my bank to dispute the charges Amazon placed on my card for this product since they received the return a week ago. I would NOT recommend this product.

Seemed okay to start with but when I used both burners I wanted one high for boiling and one medium for cooking sauce. If I had one up at 7 the other would only go to 3. So you can’t have them both on high. I don’t know why this is but I wouldn’t recommend If you need both rings at the same time
