I love these SO much more than my name brand ceramic-coated ones! I don't have to worry about these ever chipping, which is a win. 100% recommend.

These are great replacements for the KitchenAid mixer. I have the enameled covered beater that has a couple chips from dropping and was happy to get this dishwasher safe replacement. This set is good quality and fit like the OEM's at a better price point than OEM.

These are replacements for our older beaters and fit perfect on our KitchenAid mixer. The look great being all shiny metal as our last ones were white. Being fully stainless steel, there are no issues of paint chips coming off. Very easy to clean, which is expected. We have the tilt mixer and these fit perfect, though I do not know if they would fit anything else so I would recommend ensuring they do before you order. Using these seems no different than our previous attachments and they worked exactly as expected - no surprises. I expect these should last for some time. The price point is on par with many replacement attachments, (except OEM which cost more) and I am not disappointed at all. 100% satisfied and recommended.

These attachments are perfect for my KitchenAid! I absolutely love that they're made entirely of stainless steel. The original attachments that came with my KitchenAid started to chip over time, which made me hesitant to use them for baking. These stainless steel ones give me peace of mind and are a great upgrade! They're dishwasher-safe (top rack), which makes cleanup super easy, and they work perfectly with my mixer. I also think the price is fair, especially since you get the two most popular attachments for baking and cooking. Highly recommend these for anyone looking to upgrade their KitchenAid accessories!

I used these on my Kitchenaid 5 quart mixer. They fit similar to the original equipment and seem to do the job so far. They are easy to clean being all metal. Time will tell if the finish stands up or not, even the original equipment the finish eventually comes off.

First thing these are actually really nice, not completely smooth like the ad would have you believe but nothing so bumpy you would need to be concerned about anything. Cleaning is a breeze with these and they do seem to be made of stainless steel. My biggest issue is that making heavy dough causes them to come loose and fall out. Kitchenaid branded ones don't it seems like these don't have the lockin style or maybe the hole is bigger I'm not sure I just know making heavy dough this came out twice it didn't damage anything and I caught it in time but if you usually walk away from your mixer maybe don't if you are making heavy dough with this and just see. Its possible I didn't adjust enough on my mixer but since I don't have a problem with the regular Kitchenaid one I'd have to say its this attachment. Overall this is a great set if you make light dough or cakes the flat beater is easy to clean and use and it mixes everything really well. If your looking for something stainless that is a bit more budget friendly this is a great option and you should give it a try just keep in mind heavier doughs seem to cause some issues. Other than that I'm happy with these and will be using them fairly regularly for my baking needs. I hope this helps anyone that has questions! Happy amazon-ing!

Pros:They fit my artisan mixer perfectly, and are strong. I've been abusing the dough hook quite a bit with low hydration dough and it does great. Another benifit of the polished stainless is that they are a bit easier to clean. It has a very small attraction to a strong neodymium magnet, which is a characteristic of some stainless steels. This is the real deal, not plated.Con:Although I havn't had a problem with it yet, I'm not a huge fan of how the sheild on the dough hook is mounted. It is a peice or stainless sheet metal (quite thick to be fair) that is press fit. I could imagine this coming loose at some point after lots of use, but maybe I'm just being paranoid.

I had the coated paddle that started flaking. Stainless steel is a perfect solution for kitchen appliances.

The product name says 4.5 qt tilt-head mixers, but it does also fit 5 qt tilt-head mixers, including the Artisan, which I have. The business part is the same height as the original beater and hook (see photos), but the attachment hub is shorter, so the overall length is shorter as well and will require adjusting the machine. All things being equal, I'd rather not have to adjust the machine every time I use it, then un-adjust it when I use the original beaters. So, 4 stars. Get this if you have a 4.5 qt model, but if you have 5 qt, try to find one that's the same dimensions. The product photo claims "other" dough hooks don't have a guard flange and dough would climb up to the motor and engulf it, the way aliens engulf your face in Alien. But the dough hook that came with my mixer DOES have a guard. So, sketchy fear-mongering marketing tactic there.Advantages over the original beater attachment:* no paint to flake off, although the paint on my original beater has not flaked off after 8 years of use, and I bake a lot of all types of baked goods, running the mixer at all speeds. So not sure how serious a concern that is. But in theory, things that are just a solid cast of a single durable material are objectively better than things that are merely coated.* the straight lines on this beater are easier to scrape off than the many curves on the original beater. You know how the beater always ends up covered in a thick layer of cookie dough/cake batter? I can't stand wasting that, so I scrape it clean with a silicone spatula, and the straight bars both make scraping easier and allow me to then scrape the SPATULA itself on them to release whatever is stuck to it. Knock the beater with the blob on the mixer bowl, and the blob falls off and join the tasty mother blob from whence it came. Easy peasy. Makes my frugal OCD self happy.* It's just nice to have a second set if you're a small household like mine and don't run the dishwasher every day. Then one set can be in the dishwasher and you still have another set to bake your heart out when the mood strikes. Some reviews mentioned them being too short and not touching the bottom of the mixer bowl. Um…it says on the BOX itself to adjust the bowl clearance to fix exactly that! Even the original KitchenAid beaters need adjusting. There's a big silver flathead (–) screw where the tilting "hinge" is, behind the shaft. That would raise or lower the motor. Google "adjust beater bowl clearance kitchenaid" for videos and more guides. You can test the clearance with a dime. I quote from KitchenAid's website itself: "To check the beater-to-bowl clearance, place a dime in the stand mixer bowl with the Flat Beater attached. Then, turn on the appliance and observe the dime. If the dime doesn’t move, the beater is too high. If the dime doesn’t move around the bowl smoothly, the beater is too low. When properly adjusted, the dime should move about a quarter inch inside the mixer bowl with each pass of the beater."

The dough hook works well. Some hooks may come off in the middle of mixing, as the dough pushes on the hook and dislodges it. This one is designed well, with a sturdy base that does not wobble and does not dislodge. It's heavy duty, good quality and not cheaply made. I like that it is uncoated so the coating cannot chip or flake off and end up in the bowl or in your batter/dough.The flat beater is also well made, sturdy, and good quality. It worked well for mixing more solid ingredients like creaming together butter and sugar, as that can be hard at first if the butter is not fully softened. I've run them through the dishwasher and they came out clean and with no residue. They also wash well by hand.

When I pulled these out of the box I sort of freaked. They looked a lot smaller than what I thought mine did and the attachment looks different too. I was certain about my model of kitchenaid, but asked my husband anyway. He confirmed what I already knew. Fortunately, before just giving up on them, I pulled my kitchenaid out from the cabinet to test. Hubby said "There's no way those fit our machine!"Guess what... they fit perfectly. AND they work great! Zero issues at all. They went on just like my original paddle (which is in sad shape after 12 years of use) and when I turned it on, it worked just right. To be safe, I tested out the dough hook too. Same results. These are awesome.I'm really excited to try the new paddle out for mashed potatoes. I'm hoping the extra bar on it will help get rid of those lumps a little better than my old paddle. Time will tell on that, but I'm happy to be pitching the paddle and hook that both have the white coating chipping off. And I love that this set has no coating to become a problem down the road.
