The hexagonal shape with rounded corners fits nicely over holes and is less likely to lift up in the corners like a square-patch. I first removed the remaining adhesive from previous patch jobs by rubbing firmly with a cotton-tip swab. I cleaned the patch area with rubbing alcohol (to remove the old adhesive) & soap and water. At first I had trouble separating the backing from the patch, but the tip of my pocket knife blade did the trick. I got black because it goes with all colors and I don't care if the patch shows. The packet contains 16 patches in 4 different sizes, so you can fix most holes. I am keeping these patches handy for any future holes in down clothes.

Got these to patch a puffer coat that had seen better days and had some straight rips in it. So far, so good! They stick well and are holding things together. You can, if you're adventurous, cut them into shapes or designs, but I was going less for looks and more for function. There are a lot of patches in the pack and they come in a variety of sizes, which, again, is great.

I used these to fix a rip in my rain jacket. This is a super easy way to quickly fix and patch a coat or other water resistant items. These are durable and really adhere to the raincoat fabric. I like the variety of sizes and they are just the right thickness to cover the rip in the seam. These are functional, durable and extremely easy to use.

The blue colouring is good. The patches seem of good quality. The variety of sizes is nice. The directions are easy to follow. The adhesive seems strong. I used one patch on the chest lining of a jacket I had. It helps block the cold wind sneaking in through the slight tears in the lining.

These repair patches worked great for a rip in the lining of my army green aviator jacket. The hexagon shapes in varying sizes made it super convenient—no cutting needed, just pick the right size and stick it on. The color matched well, and I love that no ironing is required. Just peel, press, and you’re good to go!

I had to repair the lining of a down jacket that had an L shaped tear. These patches worked great! I still sewed the tear first, but I used one of the small patches to hold the corner of the tear in place so that I could sew the tear properly. After I started sewing, I tried to remove the patch, but it wouldn't budge so I knew that the patches were legit and wouldn't fall off over time. After sewing the tear, I cut the patches and put them over the top to hide the fix. Because of the patch, the repair looks so much better than it would have without it.

These black patches worked so well on my husband's work jacket. No more feathers flying around! They were easy to apply, look like they will stay put for a long time, blend in great and I have plenty left. I can see many uses for these.
