Les cordes réagissent aussi bien aux attaques furieuses qu'aux doigts. Étant en Drop C, elles ne "bavent pas". Excellentes cordes. J'ai hâte d'en tester d'autres de la marque

Are these the best guitar strings you can buy? Well, maybe. At least for the price. You could try La Bella or Pyramid or Gabriel Tonorio if you are in the pure nickel, low-tension camp, as I am. Thing is...those simply cost too much. Use these and thank me later. Been stringing up all my guitars with these for decades. Will not change.

I own an ovation acoustic guitar. I live in a rainforest. It is humid and damp. Strings tend to rust very rapidly where I live, typically two weeks is the average life span. I have purchased many different products, including name brands and no name brands. I was looking for a product to invest in that will maintain immense longevity, and playability in strings without rusting. I have had it on the guitar for well over several weeks and these strings, hands down, are the longest lasting that I have used. These were a great find and I will continue to buy this product in the future. These strings are the "best bang for your buck." I hope this review helps.

These are right at home on my Jazzmaster, great versatile classic tones, easy to play, hold their tune, last plenty long. On the more mellow end but still clear. Would not use them on my telecaster, but super at home on the Jazz, just depends on your instrument and what you're looking for but these are top notch for what they are.

I have been playing electric guitar for 18 years. I can say hands down DR is my favorite string company and I have not had a bad set by them yet. For my electrics the Pure Blues are what I have been using almost exclusively for about 6 years. From soft fingerpicking to all out rock these are great. I like the feel of the metal, they have a certain grip and liveliness that does not compare. I keep my hands and strings clean and they last forever. I have never broken one of these either. I was recently given a set of another brand of nickel strings in 11 gauge which took forever to settle in, never felt great, and became mushy in no time. Back to Pure Blues. Highly recommend and much gratitude to DR Strings keep up the good work.

I got these for my short-scale Mini-Squier travel practice guitar, and these strings allow me to bring it down to standard tuning with a similar feel to the DR 10's on my Les Paul and 9's on my Fenders.Feel is great, and I was able to pull the action down to 4/64" with no buzzing, and could probably go lower.

Over 4 years, I tried different strings to find ones that gave a deep, resonant blend with sustain that complimented my guitar's thick solid body sound. These were it and are, so far, my favorite sounding strings on my one guitar. These have also lasted longer than other strings I have tried (even other DR strings). Different string metals sound differently on different guitars, so I cannot say that these will sound the same for you as they did for me. I don't play blues but still like the way these strings sound. If you have tried other strings but are not satisfied with their sound, these might work for you.

FIVE STARS all the way for these DR Pure Blues .11-.50 strings! I did some comparisons, and found these to be the best-sounding strings so far on my semi-hollow Hagstrom Viking, far more interesting to listen to with many "voices" than the Thomastik Jazz .11's. I won't take these off for awhile. Note, relatively-speaking, these are not "bright" strings, as I noticed someone said, they are mellow and thick-sounding just as described by the manufacturer, without feeling heavy. The .11 gauge is not "heavy" as it says in the description, they're more like a medium if even that, and very easy to play. They are round-wound, giving me the "zip" sound and feel that I like when sliding my fingers along them! Great Strings. Comparing the Viking with these and the Thomastiks for me is the difference between wanting to pick the guitar up and wanting to put it down. With the DRs I never want to put my guitar down! And I've tried a Quite a few! For blues, retro, and surfy psychedelic the tone can't be beat. They also feel the smoothest for the longest time and don't seem to crud up as fast as other pure nics I've used. I used to use Fender and EB and these easily last 3 times as long. They also feel tighter without feeling bigger. I'm a regular gigging musician if that adds any credibility to my review!
