Personalmente trovo che le dr pure blues siano le migliori corde da elettrica sul mercato. Forse vanno cambiate un po più frequentemente di altre ma il suono e il feeling sono inarrivabili

Great strings, nice sweet slightly mellow tone, good bending, stable tuning, Highly recommended, especially for ES-335 style guitars or semi-hollows, etc. Hope that helps.

Round core strings with quality nickel alloy. I've used them on all my guitars for years.

Proporcionan un sonido nítido y sostenido.Al no ser una marca reconocida esperaba menos de ellas, pero una vez colocadas me dejaron ver que no le deben nada a otras de gran renombre en el mercado.

I like DR strings, a lot. I like the feel, sound, durability.....I like other strings too, but DR have never left me wishing for more. So, obviously, my biased opinion on these is that.......I really like them. I like the Blues Nickel DR but I also like the DR Tite Fit strings. These sound great on my three Tele's all with different pickups and wood construction. DR just seems like a reliable, consistent string maker. At least, that has been my experience.

Out of any strings I've tried, Pure Blues have the Softest feel to them and break in fairly quick. Tone is nice, not as bright as stainless but I just roll the tone knob a little more and it works for me. I'm ususlly able to get 2 good weeks out of them if I play 45 minutes or so a day. I recommend using fast fret or a string cleaner before/after playing to get a little bit more life out of them.

You like playing Blues? You're a nerd for tone? Then I recommend you get these strings seriously. Best decision I made buying them and I'll be buying them from now on. My Les Paul never sounded so good.

Guitar strings can be a very personal choice for players. If you are new to the scene or arefeeling adventurous you will want to try the DR Pure Nickels and see how they sound onyour electric. These Pure Nickels are on my Gibson ES-339 Semi-Hollow body guitar with two '57 ClassicHumbuckers on board. I love how they feel on this guitar. Bending is easier and the soundseems to have a brighter edge to them, a more vintage sound than modern, and I really likethat. The good thing about using Nickel strings is not just being easier to bend but they are a loteasier on the guitar frets as well. I have been using DR Pure Nickels on the ES for over twoyears now. I bought the 9/46s (Instead of 9/42s) because I wanted a little more bottom onthis guitar and that seems to be working for me.DR likes to put two different gauge strings in one paper envelope to help keep waste down.I am okay with that since that is 3 less paper envelopes I have to throw away. Luckily thereis one wound string with one unwound in each envelope so they are easy to discern betweenstrings when you are changing them. FYI, the 3rd string is smooth and not wound. One more thing about DR; I have never dealt with their customer service but 3 players on aguitar forum I frequent have testified that DR has been very responsive to any problems withtheir strings. This included sending out replacements very quickly and with additions. You can certainly buy more expensive pure nickel strings but at this price point these stringsare a find and with the excellent customer service I am hearing about it sounds like they arebacking their product 100%.I gave these strings 5 stars due to bending ease, customer service and price. Try them, I thinkyou will like them. You might even want to get some as back ups to your usual nickels.

These are just the thing for a bright guitar, or if you like the sound of well worn in strings. The play like they are one size smaller. So if you like 10's you might like these in an 11 and bending will feel about the same. I have these on an Ibanez semi solid with Alnico II pickups and the PU's are bit bright, and these strings really made the guitar sound soulful/bluesey. That was my goal to have a guitar that was a bit bright so I could use these. They last forever since they already sound warm. They are not for every guitar but on the right guitar and if it's the sound you are going for they are great.

A truly outstanding string because of the material and construction. Round wound core, and pure nickel is exactly what you want. You get more harmonics, and a rich vintage sound. They also bend and flex better than most strings. Stay away from hexagon core, steel (which sounds bright and tinny), and all the other hype and rock star endorsements that are attached to strings. These are strings that are made to the original old fashioned crafted standards of decades past. They are more expensive but sound better and last longer. IMO they are worth more and are a justifiable cost. There are other brands that make pure nickel round wound strings, they are likely great to as i firmly beleive it is not the brand that makes the string but the material and the construction type. DR's are easy to find in stock, making them an ideal choice.
