  • All-metal hotend made of copper alloy for superior thermal conductivity.
  • High-temperature application up to 500 °C for processing a wide variety of high-temperature and abrasive materials.
  • Conical connection of heat break and heat sink for better heat dissipation than conventional hot ends.
  • Precise production tolerances and internal hole roughness improve print quality and ensure an even filament flow.
  • Easy to exchange with a plated Copper V6 nozzle 0.4 mm and compatible with V6 hotend interface such as Prusa i3 MK3 / MK3S, Titan extruder, and BMG extruder.

The PHAETUS DRAGONFLY HOT-END BMO is an all-metal kit with high-temperature resistance up to 500 ℃. The hot-end is made of copper alloy material, which has faster heating and better heat dissipation. The conical fitting of heat break and heat sink ensures a perfect heat dissipation, while the inner hole roughness of heat break Ra≤0.3 ensures smooth filament movement and higher resolution prints. This hot-end is compatible with all filaments, including those containing abrasive additives. The nozzle diameter can be matched arbitrarily, and it comes in a blue/black appearance color with a net weight of 38g. It is compatible with V6 HOTEND interfaces, Prusa I3 MK3/MK3S, Titan Extruder, and BMG Extruder, and can be DIY compatible. Accessories include a hexagon bar, open wrench, innerhexagon screws, hexagon socket head screws, fastening screws, collect clip, drivepipe, silicone sock, and thermal conductive silicone.

I had to get a second dragonfly, because the first one failed out of the box (the heat break broke in half just separating them). The biggest issue I've had with it, though, is that it's rather short compared to every other hot end I've tried.I use the HeroMe Gen 7 build system, and it was a fair bit of work finding shims and fan brackets that were small enough to allow this thing to stick down far enough such that it was the lowest thing in the gantry setup. And with my stock Ender 3 V2 neo setup, the gantry wheel would hit the build plate before the hot end did. Only when I converted the 3d printer to linear x axis was I able to actually use this hot end.

Used for a Stealthburner build. Direct bolt on with correct stl. I always remove and reinstall throat with thermal compound to help heat transfer.
