These are an economical and convenient alternative to the OEM plugs. They're of much lighter construction and made from a more brittle plastic, but if you don't stress them too much they should work. The retaining prongs were an issue because they seemed to jam and prevent the plug from going in, so I just cut them all off.

The plugs work great when screwed in, but the little lanyard breaks off in transit. If you are in Quagga country and are required to take out your drain plugs, make sure you stash them somewhere. If you leave them hanging by the little doohickey, they won’t be there when you get home.
