Great for cleaning hair out of the bathtub drain. Goes between the drain filter and can reach farther in the overflow to pull out my long hair from the drain without the need of drain cleaner besides dish soap and this tool. Flexible metal parts that are not too lightweight, must be cleaned up and left to air dry before putting away so the tool doesn't rust.

I ordered this drain snake from Amazon Vine because dealing with clogged bathroom drains has become a bit of a routine in my house. It is one of those items I knew I would eventually need, and it has come in handy. The tool itself is flexible enough to reach down into the drain without being flimsy, and the little claw at the end grabs onto hair and gunk pretty well.When I see that one of the drains is clogged, I just put some gloves on, get the drain snake, and a trash bag, and go straight to business, then as I start unclogging the drain, I put the things that came out of the drain in the trash bag. The handle is comfortable to hold, and it does not require much strength to twist and maneuver it around. I have used it a couple of times already, and while it is not exactly a fun task, it does help avoid calling in a plumber for minor clogs.

33 ft is just perfect for most of drain. I had a 25 ft prior to purchase. Many times, it is just few feet short. After 2 tried out to open 2 different drains, 33 ft is long enough to reach the spot to get drain open. Again perfect length.

This is a good tool for a bathroom sink. It is flexible but still sturdy enough that it can help push a clog if needed. The lever controls a set of slim metal prongs. These will grab hair and other small items that might be clogging your drain. We lost the insert that prevents items from going into the drain some time ago. I am always needing to retrieve small items. This has been working great for getting the items out before they cause an issue. I have also used this to clear the drain in the shower. I was surprised how quickly it drained after I removed a shocking amount of hair from the pipe. It is easy to use. It works great if you have an issue in the first few feet of the pipe.
