How to Use Auger on Porcelain Toilet
Pull the handle up and insert the auger into the toilet bowl, tilting the auger towards the front of the bowl.
Turn the handle clockwise, manually or with a drill, while pushing the cable into the bowl.
If blockage is not reached, push button under turning handle & pull back to release 3 additional feet. Repeat steps 1 and 2.
To retrieve the auger, pull it back while turning the handle clockwise.

Tried without success over several days to unclog a toilet. This worked the first time! I was a little worried because I am a senior citizen with some physical issues, but I was able to do this without any problem.The storage case is a plus!

I have a toilet that has issues. In the past I have had to call out the plumber to unclog it at over $100 a pop. The last time he came we really took a look at the tool he was using and bought it. So far it has paid for itself. Easy to use and works great on tough clogs. Wish I knew about this a few years back.

I bought this tool specifically for a stubborn, messy toilet clog that was obviously limited to the toilet plumbing and failed to respond to repeated ministrations with a plunger. The plumbing on the sink and shower of the same bathroom were running fine. I suspected this was due to a toilet paper compaction; there were no variables in the household like children’s toys or feminine hygiene products that could have been involved.Definitely wear the provided gloves, as well as lay down trash bags or tarps around the offending toilet as there is no way to avoid drips. By the time any of us is involving a snake to clear out a toilet clog, it’s very likely to be messy so you want to limit the scope of drips and splashes.The videos provided by the vendor on Amazon were accurate and straightforward. It took me all of 10-15 minutes, and a couple of attempts with the snake to clear out the blockage. After that it was all about clean up.Definitely a recommended tool for your residential repair arsenal.

The review I never thought I’d make lol!This toilet auger saved me from needing to call a plumber. I had a clog that was somehow much deeper than a plunger or enzyme declogger could resolve so after three different methods, I bit the bullet and this thing cleared it out after about 15-20 minutes. The only real con I have is pulling the cord out to properly get it into the toilet; I’m a fairly small person and pulling it out pretty much doubles the length and makes it hard to maneuver. There’s also supposed to be an extra 3 feet and I couldn’t figure out how to release it after pressing the button but, I ended up not even needing the extra length. Also, you’ll probably end up with some silver scuffs in the bottom of your toilet if you don’t pull far enough to the rubber bit on the end. I really appreciate it coming with gloves though, because who wants to touch that grossness, but your hands won’t be near the cord at all until you’re putting it up.I know it’s an expensive toilet auger. I know there are tiny drain snakes that would also work (kind of, after 2+ hours, ask me how I know). But save yourself the hassle and just get this one, I’d 100% give it 4.5 stars if I could.

This is the best item I have ever came across for a clogged toilet. Not sure about tubs or sinks, have not used. I travel a lot for work and staying at a house with newer toilets that do not flush with much water. I tried everything short of calling a plumber. I thought well I would try this as a last resort seeing it is kinda pricey. Should have done this first! Cleared the clog easily. Yes it is bulky to use but still not hard. Now I have this whenever I need it again. Hands down, money well spent.

I replaced my Rigid auger for this one, because the bent has a better protection and will not scratch the toilet. Unfortunately the handle broke off while I was using it (never before this happened with the Rigid). I tried with amazon to see if I can get a replacement, but amazon told me that I had to go directly to the manufacturer. I then called their number and after many tries, I spoke with a person, I explained my problem and her response was that she only handles the shipments, but that she will pass on my message and information and some one will call me back. Well, I'm still waiting for the call, this is why I decided to write this review. For the money I paid, I can get something better at home depot. I don't recommend this product at all.
