Amazing after a month of listening for a few minutes per day we can say a few things well impressed .. only 5 min a day in the car adds up to 30 h in a year that’s an equivalent of 30 one hour lessons would definitely recommend

A little dry, but a lot of info for a low price.

Great resources for commuters! Pronunciation of the words should be a little more clearer but overall, fantastic! Great job! Thanks

I am taking Spanish 101 at a local community college - 1 1/2 hours a night, 2 nights a week. I was having a hard time catching on. I have been using this CD for 3 days and this makes more sense to me than the college course I have been taking for a month. On this CD they explain the rules of the language which I haven't been getting in class. Once you understand the rules, the language makes a whole lot more sense.I get a lot more time to hear and practice speaking Spanish with the CDs than I do in class. I am currently listening to disc #2 for the 2nd time and have already passed where we are at school. I am hopeful that this will help give me an edge in class now. I wish I had ordered these CDs before I started taking the course.

i am a taxi driver so i'm in my car all the time and this really is great! i read some reviews before i purchased this item that said that it was abit fast but hey, what is the rewind button for!i also really like it as it takes you straight into interesting sentences that you are likely to use instead of listing days of the week, months of the year etc which can be very boring however this product i find very interesting!

Some sentences are fairly complex to understand without the book in front of you so it can get tricky to understand while driving but as you go through the discs multiple times you pick up more each time.

I'll admit - languages come easily to me. So I figured that learning Spanish in the car wouldn't be too hard, and that I could pick up the written portions as I went along (I mostly wanted tourist-oriented dialogue, anyway). Disc 1 was great. They presented words - repeated 3 times with time for you to repeat, then sentences, then variations on the same sentence. By the end, you understand how to form a basic sentence, ask a basic question, and give an answer. This format was great! Then disc two starts. Every word is only said once. Some of them are never even used in following examples. There's no theme (The first disc was focused on describing a car/van and objects you see while driving). You learn the alphabet, then conjugate a verb, then learn some random "work" vocabulary, then a little about the weather, then how to ask for directions - all in less than an hour. I'm really trying to keep up with this, but I feel like I'm just parroting sounds rather than learning a language - there isn't enough repetition for my brain to start making the connections and finding the patterns that happen when you truely start to understand a new language.

J am very happy with this purchase because I use it nearly everyday. My granddaughter is enrolled in a Spanish immersion preschool and we share our Spanish vocabulary during our evening meal together. It's fun and worthwhile as we live in Houston, Texas and we encounter many Spanish speaking citizens.

This is a great product if you have an interest in learning some words or phrases. I'm not looking to conquer the language, just get those words and phrases that will come in handy during a vacation. I have learned several words and a few phrases and I am only on the first disk. I want to get this one really well before I move on to another. If you listen enough, you learn it like you would a favorite song on a CD.

I travel frequently to Nicaragua and I'm always looking for ways to improve on my Spanish language skills. I bought this four CD set as it was promoted for learning Spanish during your drive time. I found that there is just way too much information that is pushed at you in the last two CD's -- way more than I can absorb even after listening and re-listening to them. Additionally, the course doesn't repeat the phrases or sentences a second time -- miss it the first go round and you've lost out because the narrator doesn't repeat anything. This course should have been spaced out over six or more CD's and more time should be given to the review of material already presented.
