The driver side power switch sometimes called the master power window switch controls all 4 power windows as well as the door locks, right and left side power windows, and window lock. When your factory switch fails you may lose control over one of these systems. This replacement switch installs in a matter of minutes in your GMC Acadia and will give you full control again. My passenger window will not roll dowm from driver control and this fits perfect. Now I can roll the window , it was an easy fix. Saves you money taking it to shop.

an exact replacement and inexpensive. Easy to install with basic assembly skills. Watched a Youtube video for instructions. I gave 5* for value because it is so inexpensive despite this beings the 2nd one purchased. I don't know who the last seller was. The original switch lasted about 11 years and the 1st replacement about 2-3 years. Hoping for a longer life from this one.

Got a malfunctioned master window switch on my 2011 GMC Acadia. Watched a few YouTube videos and decided to buy this aftermarket switch and do it myself. The tricky part is to remove the plastic door panel (yes, the panel has to be removed to replace the master switch). The panel retainer pins required a lot of force to pop out, to the extent that I was afraid they might break (but didn’t). Once I popped the first one, the rest were getting easier and easier. The key is to get the right tools to remove the retainer pinsThis aftermarket master switch has been working well so far, no problem at all. Highly recommend

GM price was over $100 this was great. Easy to install but I have a GM Acadia and had to remove the door panel to get at the switch,I found it fairly simple to do took aproxx 25 mins and I am 80 yrs old should be better for a younger person.
