Yes, it's a mirror and fits properly, but dang - like others have said, it's a BUG-OUT when looking into it. It's like the Passenger side "objects are closer than they appear" but on the driver side. It's very weird to look at ... almost want to rip it off and have nothing. Find something else if you have vertigo!

These pop out, and the new one pops right in to the side mirror. It's a perfect fit and terrific to replace broken mirrors or mirrors with swirl marks from cleaning. Crystal Clear, bought one for the other side too.

I installed it myself. Super easy. They include the tool to take your old mirror out and just snap the new one.
