I’ll start my saying they have good customer service, BUT, I’ve been through three of these things, each only lasting a couple of months. At that point, water seems to have gotten inside the unit and the receiver in my house just goes off incessantly. The company kept replacing the unit for free, which was appreciated, but the product just doesn’t last long enough to make it worth the aggravation any longer.

This is a good product when working. I have bought 2 of these and both times water gets into the outside unit causing to no longer work. Money wasted as a result.

So glad I made this purchase! We live in a very rural area; people were driving up to our house and we had no idea anyone was here (our dog is not a barker - except for birds!). We installed the drive way alarm at our cattle guard, about 200 yds. from the house. It worked wonderfully - until our electricity went on and off, and then a brown out! I didn't get the receiver unplugged quickly enough - it went a little haywire! I ordered a new receiver, then had to contact the company for instructions for syncing to the sensor. They immediately got back to me AND offered to send me another receiver.A long story to say: great product, even better customer service. Win-win!

Installed this several weeks ago aimed across driveway on tree 15 feet off driveway. I was pleased that the detector reliably transmits 800 feet through dense forest to the base "ding-dong" unit inside my house. Reliably detects vehicle, person walking, deer walking, sometimes the brush swaying when wind blows strongly. Setup is can be a bit complex but the instructions are detailed and written well enough to understand. In forest under trees and seems to get enough light for solar charging to keep it working.

I've been using these for almost a year now. I love them. You won't be let down with these. They hold up unbelievably well in the elements. The solar charge is VERY convenient and I have never had a problem with them. They only go off when something either rides by them or walks by them. Animals will trip them, which is fine. I can hear them go off inside the house. It's nice to know when something is out in your driveway, especially when you live out in the woods like I do. No one gets to my house without me hearing them coming in advance! Which is exactly what I wanted. It also serves to scare off any would be intruder, because they can easily hear these go off when they walk by. The sound comes from my porch but it's still loud enough for them to hear them even way down the wooded driveway. Works GREAT> I would buy again for sure. I may install a few more around the periphery of the house.

The distance is awesome. Sensor was tricky to line up at the angle I have the one but it was pretty quick set up. The units were preprogrammed, so that was nice. You tube videos were easy to follow for instructions. The bracket on the one unit stripped and cracked as I was installing. I thought it shouldn't have for as easy as I screwed them in but it was just 1 hole on one that did it. My driveway is a mile long driving but about a half mile from our home with the turns in it. It reached way further than I thought it would. I have 1 sensor at the end of the driveway and one about halfway. There's patches of woods and everything but the sensor reached all the way to the house. It's been working great!

I purchased a two sensor system approx 1 month ago and immediately installed the system which is very, very, easy to install. The system is installed at my rural vacation home and I would consider it a challenging location for this product.The house is located on top of a hill and the first sensor is located at the bottom of the hill over a 1/4 mile away and the signal is partially blocked by foliage, the hill, and the house itself from the receiver. The second sensor is located about halfway up the hill and is approx +800' from the receiver and it also does not have line of sight to the receiver. The second sensor is also partially blocked by the hill and house itself from the receiver and also has numerous trees between the receiver and is mounted on the back side of an approx 6' diameter tree away from the receiver. Both sensors are working great and as others have noted, sensors are subject to being triggered by animals.The second sensor is located in a somewhat shady location that does not receive any direct sun which does not seem to be affecting it's ability to stay charged. The first sensor receives approximately 6 hours of direct sunlight. Both sensors seem to be charging without issue. Also, we have experienced several days of rainy, overcast, weather which had no affect on the operation of either sensors.The instructions are easy to understand and I changed the alarm sounds and sensitivity of both sensors which was very easy. There are lots of various sounds to choose from and I chose two different sound settings so we could distinguish which sensor has been activated which helps in verifying that a vehicle or person is in fact coming up the driveway. We occasionally get single warnings which are triggered by animals but mounting the sensors where there is a minimum of animal activity is something you may want to consider. Initially, I had one of the sensors mounted a little too close to where birds would occasionally feed and a bird simply flying through the sensor's beam would trigger the sensor.So far, I would not hesitate to recommend this driveway alarm system but I cannot attest to the longevity. I'll try to remember to update this review after a year of operation and if I experience any negative issues I will definitely update this review. So far, I am very happy with the performance of this system and am happy to make a positive recommendation for purchase.
