I wanted a cable that would connect an ASUS monitor with a serial cable (15 pin) to my Chromebook. Unfortunately the cable had a 9 pin female connector so didnt work. Buyer beware. Plus it has a CD for some reason that I cant use with my Chromebook.

Don't know if it is an issue with the cable or the radio. The radio may require the 12volt rs232 signaling and not the 5 volt.
