This works as expected. I'm getting better speeds than with my old card, as well as now having Bluetooth.

I tried every method I can try. Just can't make the bluetooth work. It showed up in device manger and I could turn it on, but it could never be found or add devices. After trying many hours, I decided to try other sellers. It turned out it was not my bad. it was the faulty product.Don't trust the description. The pictures even showd 7620. They're all knocked off. Just printed stickers.

I own an Asus X53e which was manufactured in 2011 and the wifi stopped working. For the price, what could I lose. I am running on windows 10 and it immediately recognized my network unlike my old wifi card. No updates needed. It was easy to install, came with extra screws, and the speed is better. It appears to be a quality product, but time will tell. 5 stars for now.

Had to upgrade an old Toshiba Satellite from slow 2.4Ghz to keep it current. Followed a few simple steps to disable a few fingers on the connections to work properly and everything works flawlessly now. Getting over 600gbs on the 5Ghz side and the 2.4side speed has improved as well. Loaded Windows 11, tweaked a lot (Shame on you Microsoft) and now don't have to send this off to a landfill. With small updates like this, almost anyone can keep older equipment running for a long time and in most cases, better than when it was new thanks to SSD's and lower memory costs.

I have an older ASUS laptop model X54C that has been a workhorse. It's not a gaming laptop but is terrific with basic everyday functions (browsing, word processing and proprietary software). It's been "hot-rodded" with increased RAM and SSD. However, being only an i3, 2nd generation processor it is remarkable how quick it boots and responds. So, the only drawback was the lack of 5G wifi and Bluetooth. The other wonderful thing about these older laptops is the accessibility to basic components like harddrive, RAM, wifi card, etc. I removed two screws on the bottom cover and there they are! Literally, this wifi card was installed in five minutes. As some others have mentioned, I taped over pin 51 to allow the bluetooth to function. Was it necessary? I don't know but it all works flawlessly. You will need to update the W10 driver for the bluetooth to operate. After install just do a "check for updates" routine and expand the "optional updates" section to find the Intel bluetooth driver. Install and reboot. Now the ability to turn bluetooth on will appear in the PC Settings under Bluetooth.
