Because of the way the power is rated, I really didn't expect much in the way of power, and especially not in the way of sound quality. I figured give a shot, realize it would disappoint, and return it later today. I temped it up with some crappy wire and gave it a listen. I am truly blown away. The clean volume level is far more than anticipated. I'm streaming from Tidal, arguably the best audio quality streaming service there is, and running it through a pair of B&W DM601S3 8 ohm bookshelf speakers. The setup gave me incredible imaging and detail, even soundstage depth. All of this from an audio snob who has spent part of his lifetime working at high-end audio retailers in San Diego and Cleveland (Audio Craft) selling stuff like Levinson, Krell, and Macintosh. Honestly, I can't imagine it even possible to do better for your money. She's a keeper.

So first things is this produces fine sound for my two bookshelf speakers which are Pioneer 100w, but ONLY when used over Bluetooth from my PC, which means that there is a very noticable audio delay so watching any kind of video, playing a game, or basically anything out than just music is behind the visual.I tried connecting it to every port on my PC but none of them are producing enough signal to be anything more than barely audible at any volume level. I tried changing every setting I could find online (loudness equalizer, boosts, etc.) and it was still too quiet to be useful. I even used the amp I have for my Sennhesier headphones because those were the same, but even that small desktop powered amp did not improve the volume levels for the Dual.Final Verdict: Works fine over bluetooth for music only, a little annoying how it constantly turns off when not in use, and the powering on and powering off announcement is far too loud and unable to be turned up or down. This has shown to be basically useless for any kind of gaming or video because when hard wired, it's too soft to hear, and when on bluetooth it's delayed so much it's unwatchable.

pros:-loud-has great bass even at lower volume with 2 ohm speakers-able to bridge it to get max power out-plenty loud enough to wake up the neighbors through a concrete wall-doesnt die-easy to work, very user freindly-has bass controls-small and compact-sorta water proof. mainly just humidity proof-great quality even at full volumecons:-has an annoying "Bluetooth ready to pair" sound when start up and "powering off" sound when it turns off-turns off when no music is detected for 5-10 minutes-wall plug will break if wire is kinked in any way-its loud upon notifying the user it is on and offoverall this product is a great product. can handle from 8-0.5 ohm speakers. also i have 2, 240 watt max 2 ohm mid-range speakers connected and it can push them both to their limit. i do wish it was a bit cheaper though. i can build a sub setup for in my room for around the same price, and yes i have built around 3 sub setups for in my room but i chose this product because of how user friendly it is.

Easy to setup and versatile, quality sound, and good Bluetooth connectivity. A little underpowered but works just fine in my environment (sheltered outdoors). Only dislike is the annoying voice providing audio status on start up & shutdown, that’s a minor annoyance compared to the hours of music it provides

Update on my purchase of this in June 2020:Still working great, though used intermittently when out on back patio. No issues with losing Bluetooth connection (unless I leave the backyard with phone in my pocket). Really glad I bought this. This review is for the DBTMA100 amp - not speakers.Bought this amp to power two Bose 151 Environmental speakers in my backyard. I did away with my Bose Lifestyle system and needed a small amp to run these speakers that also had Bluetooth. Tried another model, but the basic “about 30’” Bluetooth range kept dropping out. This amp is inside my house near the outside wall adjacent to my patio. Bose speakers are hard wired into amp (through basement to amp).Bought this model for its “100’ range” and finally no issues with dropped Bluetooth when outside on the patio. Great sound, plenty of volume, and bass/treble controls.Extremely easy to set up, simple controls, and fast pairing. Had it up and running in about 5 minutes. I could live without the red “runway” lights, but easily hidden with electric tape.Great little amp and perfect for my application.

First the good stuff:So far, not a SINGLE Bluetooth dropout! More to test, but so far that part has been stellar. The sound quality is decent for my application (in-store amplification of music, not critical listening). The controls are easy enough for my employees to figure out right away. The amp is small and generates little heat, even running at 4 ohms all day, which likely means it will last a long time (power supply is external, wall-wart style). There is a front-panel mute button, which will likely come in handy when the phone rings with a quiet, over-seas client and the computer is asleep so cannot be muted from there.Medium:The top has silly red LEDs for some reason; however, it is really easy to turn them off, so no big deal! The RCA jacks on the back are outputs, not inputs, which is odd. This might come in useful, just not sure how...The only analog input is 1/8 inch jack on the front, which bypasses the bluetooth (no switch).Not-so-good:Be warned, the posts for the speakers are TINY. I mean TINY. I had to prepare tails with super thin wire and then braid them into the speaker wires to make them work. That is frustrating. No internal power supply, so expect a wall-wart taking up room.All-in-all, a decent and inexpensive little amplifier, perfect for bluetooth pairing. I recommend it.
