The box of staples were not taped on each end and opened up within the shipping box and a few of the staples were all broken up.

These staples worked great on my 60 year old Duo Fast hammer staplers

While these heavy duty staples look fine and have a reasonable finish, they are too narrow for a Swingline Powergun 1000. They load, but jam on the internal guide when closing the loading mechanism.

Tough staples, hold well when shot with proper staple gun

Very good quality item. However, your shipping container (a padded paper bag) left a lot to be improved upon, as the factory box the staples came in, became opened during shipment and I was greeted with 5,000 staples floating around in the bag when I opened it. Not Good! Messy! Lost about 10 % of the staples because of damage or unable to use.

I've had Duo-Fast staplers for over 40 years. Originally, 1, now have 2, and they have never failed me. The staplers are adjustable in terms of how much force is applied to the staple (you twist a dial on top to get the force you want). I have every size staple for them that they make, from 1/4" up to 9/16", and plenty of them, never know when I'll need them. Originally, the staples weren't galvanized, but that's what I get now.

These worked great in a Harbor Freight pneumatic stapler which specified 1/2" crown 20 gauge staples. I purchased the 1/4" deep staples. I did a test and quick as I could powered in about 20 staples into a a piece of fir wood and no jams and very consistent depth. I then successfully attached a loose woven burlap to a 1/4 thick plywood backing board with no punch through by the staples. A note on the gun is that the air pressure should be turned down to round 50 psi. At max pressure or about 120 psi the staples drove in too hard and potentially puncturing through the material your trying to staple.
