Not good in my garage. Temp outside was 43°, ran for 30 min prior and still never reached comfortable temp.

This is the 2nd heater of this brand I've purchased. I've had 2 Remington branded heaters as well. They seem to last 6-7 winters which isn't bad imo. Some things to know:1. If it won't stay lit it's most likely the thermocouple. A you look at the front, it's at the 3 o'clock position. One screw holds it on. Amazon sells them; the price is cheap...buy a couple.2. If you think it won't attach to the tank, you probably shouldn't have one. It's reverse thread...lefty tighty righty loosey. It's in the instructions.3. No heater will keep you warm if you're more than 6 feet away unless you have some sort of partial barrier. A tarp, 3 sided enclosure...something.4. Fuel consumption on a full tanks of propane @4.5gallons. Approximately 40 hours on low, 35 on medium and 30ish on high. How large an area it will heat depends on how airtight the area where it's being used. Obviously you need ventilation to avoid O2 depletion and CO build-up.I worked out of a 12x40 trailer on job sites. There's always a door or window cracked and it will raise the temperature from low 30s to 60 in about an hour. This style heater has been in use for decades but might not be for everyone if reading instructions is challenging.

Works great! Used it to heat a 2 car garage/shop and heated it to 65 degrees in a short time. Temp was 26 degrees outside, so I'd say it did a pretty good job! As others said that the valve on the front to adjust the high/low/off should not be set to off and to use the bottle valve to turn it off, well going what they have said, I just used the bottle valve to turn it off and it has worked perfect!
