These switches were recommended to me as good clacky switches, and that recommendation holds! The only issue I had was with the label on the container, which says "Black Louts Linear" instead of "Black Lotus Linear". If you're looking for tremendous clacky switches for yourself, look no further than the Black "Louts" Linear.

The Durock Black Lotus switches are hands-down some of the best switches I’ve ever used! I currently have two sets—both hand-lubed and filmed for peak performance. One set has stock springs, while the other has been customized with 48g springs, and both deliver an incredible typing experience. The smoothness of these switches is unreal. Whether I’m gaming or typing, there’s no scratchiness at all. The lubing and filming definitely elevate their performance, but even stock, these switches are impressively refined. The sound is another highlight—deep, thocky, and incredibly satisfying. Every keystroke feels intentional and premium.Durability has been top-notch so far. Both sets are holding up perfectly even after extended use. On top of all that, their aesthetic appeal is unmatched. The black housings with lotus accents give them a sleek, elegant look that stands out on any build. If you’re on the fence about these switches, don’t be. Whether you’re looking for a stock experience or a highly customized one, the Black Lotus switches deliver in every way. 5 stars!

Durock makes some great switches, and the Black Lous switches are as good as they come. They are linear for a smooth press, and like all Durock switches that promise to be silent, they are dead quiet. If you are looking for linear, silent switches, these are as good as any.

Awesome switches. If you like full 4mm travel, but want a long pole switch, this one's for you. They have a nice deep sound profile and the RGB diffuser works extremely well if you're someone that's into RGB. I find the mid -heavy weight and spring feel to be very nice! Plus the black and pink just looks great :D

These switches stock had SOOO much spring and leaf ping. It was driving me insane but once hand lubed, these switches sound amazing!

Just finished lubing all of them. They are solid litttle switches. Waiting for the keycaps to come in to put them on the board.

Good feel and sound. Light pipe works great with side lit key caps.

decided to attach some pictures of the real switch to this review so it isnt just computer renders on the listing. these are some very nice heavy linear switches, with a nice poppy sound to them. the light diffusers on them are extremely effective, my new board is probably three times brighter than my old one, using the same keycaps. im using them with the factory lube job, which seems totally adequate, each switch feels consistently smooth. the springs are also nice and heavy, which saves me the time and hassle of having to put in heavier springs myself. i was also given one switch with an 80g spring for the spacebar, but i have two spacebars on the board i built up, so i only get one super heavy spacebar lol.as for the downsides, these switches were expensive, nearly 50c per switch. there is also a typo on the container lol.thats about it, i enjoyed building a keyboard with these switches.
