Gas cap fit just like the original on my Husqvarna LC221RH lawn mower. Only difference is the lack of a strap which connected the cap to the gas tank which is minor in my opinion.

I was a bit skeptical when I opened the package because it looked too small for my Club Cadet lawn mower, but I was the correct fit. Possibly a bit on the small side for the outside diameter (It could have been more comfortable for your hand) if that makes sense. But happy to have it as oddly the original was run over so I had nothing to compare it too.

A few comments that you might find helpful if you are trying to diagnose a similar small engine issue... I have a newer pressure washer powered by a Honda GC160 motor. The engine started dying after 8 minutes of use. Take off the gas cap, see that it has fuel, restart the engine, then it dies again after 8 minutes of use. These are the symptoms of a gas cap that isn't allowing air to flow properly into the tank. Think of it like putting your finger over a straw and how the straw holds the liquid in it until you release it. A bad gas cap prevents the fuel from flowing in the same way. This new gas cap fixed the issue.While the new gas cap fits and operates perfectly well, be aware that the overall outer dimensions will be smaller in diameter than the Honda OEM part. This doesn't impact its operation in any way, but if that bothers you, you will want to spend more to get the OEM part.
