Husqvarna part 503828004 (503829503 and 503828003). Other options (on other sites) offer this for around $20 with shipping costs between $7-$10. Ridiculous cost for a little piece of plastic and rubber, and even $7 to ship is absurd, but if you need it, you’ll have to pay the price – total gouging. This version is cheaper and has no shipping, and it fit just fine. OEM had metal chain and metal spring device that goes into the fuel tank, this one has string and plastic…I’m not losing any sleep over this fact. If your cap broke like mine did, it’s probably because your equipment is old, and I’m guessing this cap will outlast the machine at this point. No matter what option you choose, you’re going to be overcharged – I decided to just get the cheap one. I could buy 2 cheapo’s for the cost of 1 expensive option.Originally gave it 3 stars simply because it's too expensive for what you get, but at the end of the day, it does what it's supposed to do and is cheaper than other options.

This fuel tank cap fit my 80s model husqvarna 61 chainsaw. Original gray cap had orange silicone valve inside that leaked. O.E. # 501 56 45-01, 501564501. Husky part
