This edge guide is not even close to being square. Because of this, the blade on your saw will not be parallel to the edge of the board that you are cutting.

This product is 5 stars all the way. I couldn’t find the right size guide in the box stores and the one from Dewalt doesn’t come with a decent screw for the lock in of the depth. The build quality is as good as I believe it could be. I love to see a nice straight cut and this guide makes it easier than by hand. The only downside is that the cut has to at least a few inches because it doesn’t go in far enough to do any less. So there are limits but this is just another tool to get the job done right.

This Rip Fence fits my Dewalt Flexvolt 60v 7-1/4" Circular Saw, (DCS578X1).That's highly valued/ secret info since it isn't published anywhere that it works on my saw.The part # isn't named in the manual either.Hope this helps someone.
