Looked like a pretty good little gun for touch ups or repairs. Checked it all over before trying it. But when I went to paint some parts it leaked just behind the nozzle on the needle all over the parts. Tried everything to get it to stop leaking but I could only slow it down to dripping. You cannot paint with any paint gun if it leaks. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Sad because I liked the look and feel of it.

Good spray pattern. When I took it apart to clean it, I noticed one of the inserts had some plastic, so I I haven't seen if it leaks. Most good spray guns are all metal to metal sealed The pressure gauge and fittings leaked a lot of air so I didn't use those

I paint 2-4 cars and 3-5 bikes a year and many other shop projects. This is the first touch up gun I have looked forward to using. I use an Iwata for cars and motorcycles. This sprays as well as the Iwata. Will be taking mirrors, bumpers and grills off all the time now as well as using it on bikes. Totally pleased, unbeatable at the price. May buy 4-5 more and stash them. Will throw my other touch up guns away.

This is a really nice additional gun to have handy for little projects, touch up, and it's especially useful for tight areas or smaller areas like door jambs, floor boards, and inner trunk.I'll break My experience down for ya'.I've got a few guns. They range from cheap to I'm not a master painter, as I've only been doing it a couple of years, But I have shot 2 cars, and a lot of furniture, so I think I'm at least fairly competent,.Painting is only partially about the gun. I'd say it's 80% setup, and 20% equipment. I struggled with paint for quite some time, then I went to a paint workshop where they taught gun setup, and wow did it make a difference!Certain things make a gun pleasurable to use. Dynastus pretty Much nails it, and if you read the reviews of others, You'll see that I'm not alone in that opinion. There's a lot of people out there more experienced than I who say that these are surprisingly capable guns. The triggers for example... on cheap guns, the triggers are uniformly smooth throughout the "pull". It's so much easier to paint when the trigger is effortless. The Dynastus guns are pretty consistent. Smooth Pull, good flow control, and pretty solid Fan.They also come with a regulator, which not all guns do. You don't really "NEED" it , as it has an air control knob at the bottom, but it's nice to be able to see the input pressure. When you get the gun, go ahead and spray some solvent through it to remove any of the oily residue from the coating they use to protect it from moisture damage during warehousing and shipping.. Xylene is fine.I set My gun up at 28 P.S.I. that seemed to do the trick! Set your pressure with the trigger pulled. If you set it to say, 30 P.S.I, without pulling the trigger, when you did go to spray, you'd see the P.S.I. drop down to say 18 or 19 P.S.I. This is important.. make sure pressure is correct.Set your volume so you can shoot a quick dot that is neither sparse, nor runny. Volume or flow, is the knob on the back of the gun.Back your fan all the way out (the knob on the side) and hang a sheet of kraft paper, or a piece of cardboard, or whatever, and just hold the gun 8 or 10 inches away, and give it a squeeze... at first, you'll probably get next to nothing... Just keep applying more fan control until you get as close to a cigar shape as you can.I don't really play with the flow, or volume much. You may need to adjust it if it doesn't feel like you can maintain a "wet edge", but once it's good, it's pretty much set it and forget it.If you're using the regulator, make sure your air control on the bottom isn't closed off too much. You shouldn't be restricting air with the regulator, and the air control.. One or the other! For a vertical fan, you want the protruding parts of the nozzle to be horizontal.Work on your setup until you can spray a nice even pass with no runs, drips, or blotchy pattern, and you're good to go!Figure out your overlap preference, and spray in long even passes. Don't start and stop during the pass. If you can comfortably pull off a pass the entire width of a hood, or the entire length of the car, do it in one pass. You'll get comfortable quickly, again, as long as you set your gun up right.I shot a bunch of cabinet doors with this gun, and while it's fan is much smaller than My full sized guns, it's still large enough to lay some nice passes down.I didn't notice much of a difference, except for the fact that it simply took more passes. When I was done, you couldn't tell which gun I had used.Keep the edge wet, so when you overlap the next pass, it blends.. if you go too slow, or have a quick drying mix, it'll be really hard to keep from leaving pass lines . If it stays wet, the lines will blend, leaving a smooth paint job. This is a neat little gun. Pretty easy to clean, though I did but a couple of cheap airbrush cleaning kits from HF, as it's nice to have a few different brushes. If you can find the disposable cups, they help cleanup quite a bit.Don't dilly dally when you're done... Clean the gun. A 15 minute cleaning can turn into an hour if you let the paint set up. No Bueno!YouTube will show you how to clean an HVLP gun. This is a very smooth gun with a nice fan, for very little money. It's one of the best inexpensive guns I've used... Truthfully, all of Dynastus's guns are pretty nice. They obviously know a thing or two about painting.I attached pix of Both of My Dynastus guns to show the difference in size. If you're a beginner, or an experienced painter, I believe you'll be happy with this gun.

I used the Dynastus Touch Up 4.2 oz HVLP Air Spray Gun on a small refinishing project and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The 1.0mm nozzle and regulator provided precise control, allowing me to achieve a professional finish. The finish coat was smooth and clear after very light sanding. While this is not an expensive spray gun, the build quality is adequate. The 4.2 oz capacity is ideal for small projects, and the ergonomic design made it comfortable to use.Overall, the Dynastus Touch Up Spray Gun exceeded my expectations. It's a reliable and efficient tool that delivers good results. Based on the results of my project, I will continue to use this tool for DIY projects.
