The mosquito lure bag is effective at attracting mosquitoes by imitating naturally occuring human skin scents to which the mosquitoes are attracted. Replace the lure bag every 60 days for maximum effect.

Have use these before. I am glad I can order from my Amazon account and Not Direct. These are easy to install and durable.

This packet actually attracts the mosquitoes and any type of outdoor bugs. The smell and light attracts the bugs to the trap and the fan on the device lures them in. We have this at our beach house and we were gone for about 2 weeks and upon returning, the trap was about 1/2 full. I am always a little skeptical about some products but this does work. Highly recommend.

After 20 years of running a Mosquito Magnet Liberty I finally went out and bought a Liberty Plus. This is a really good unit, but I'm talking about the lure.Ran the magnet the first night with no lure and picked up a good bit of brown mosquitoes. Popped the lure in the bottom of the snout (left the cap off) and the next day *MORE* mosquitoes. It's picking up the big brown ones and the small brown ones which fly at night. However it's not attracting the Asian Tigers, which we have here in Maryland. Ug. So I'll run this for awhile and see if I can get one of my old Liberty units working again at which point I'll go back to Lurex (which did work for AT's). But if you have the annoying brown night mosquitoes this will definitely call them into the trap.

This product has a very strong scent and it does attract bugs. The machine is the problem. I have trapped all of the moths in my yard. 🤷🏻♀️

Doesn't seem to attract any more, or less, mosquitos than using the trap without it. Seems to attract more flies though. This smells pretty bad. Luckily when placed outside, it isn't terrible ... but you do not want this packet sitting next to you on a warm day due to the odor. Our Dynatrap used to be really, really effective at catching mosquitos. For whatever reason, this season it doesn't seem as effective at all. We ordered this lure hoping it would go back to its old effectiveness but its about the same.Overall, given how pricey this little lure is ... I would say to just use the trap without it. We didn't notice much of a difference in mosquito collection. If black flies or garbage flies are an issue, you may get more of them when using this.I hope my honest review after using the product was helpful to you. Were are huge Dynatrap fans ... but just don't see the results of adding this.

Without this all the dynotrap catches is flying bugs and moths. Evidently I learned Mosquitos aren't attracted to light. They are attracted to human scent and the pheromones or something. Anyway, this little pooch has that! We dropped one in our dynotrap basket and noticed less and less mosquitos. Keep in mind, this isn't an overnight mosquito catcher. You leave the dynotrap out 24/7 starting in the Spring and it could take several weeks to catch them and stop their egg cycle. You don't move it around either. It will work.

As other reviewers said, this thing stinks. I thought people might be exaggerating but y’all. It’s BAD.When looking at the ingredient list, the top active ingredient is lactic acid, which makes sense because that’s a component of human sweat. And this thing reeks like sweaty ball sack. Gross, I know, but I’m just trying to help you be prepared when you open this thing.I think the manufacturer’s intent is to mimic the chemicals in human exhalations and sweat so the mosquitoes (in theory) go there and not on you. So I’m trusting the stank nasty smell is worth it. For now.I had my Dynatrap upwind of the porch, about 15-20 feet away per manufacture’s instructions. But the smell was still so intense I had to rearrange things so it’s downwind of me.I can’t say yet whether it makes more mosquitoes head to the Dynatrap and away from the humans. What I CAN say is that if I went to my neighbors’ to visit on the porch and smelled that smell, I’d assume they needed to bathe and were to polite to tell me to leave. Then I’d figure out a way to quickly extricate myself so they could go take care of their bathing posthaste. You might could take a pair of your dude’s sweaty gym shorts and cut them up for lures instead of buying this pricey little sachet. I dunno. It’s expensive for what it is, but Texas mosquitoes are tough so we gotta go low sometimes to outfox ‘em.I’ll let you know in a few days whether I think it’s helping the Dynatrap be more effective or not. In the meantime, consider yourself forewarned about the stank.
