I have bought these controls from two, different dealers. The units I purchased here came with EXCELLENT, illustrated instructions that are written in plain English. Better still, they all worked. The other source were no instructions and some had bad LED displays with blanked elements. Stay happy, buy here!

Read through reviews and there are so many reviews about it simply not working straight out of the box. Unfortunately, based on what a lot of the reviews say, that's probably more to do with user error than the unit itself. The wiring isn't exactly intuitive and if you don't read the instructions you're going to have a bad time with a seemingly broken unit. You can even see the wiring diagram in the product listing pictures. Before giving up on the unit make sure you wire it properly according to the instructionsOnly time will tell how long this lasts but right now it's a great little temperature controller.

I order to control a muffin fan in a enclosed cabinet. This controller has worked for a month now with no issues. I'm going to order another one to control a heater via a relay in a well house in the winter at a remote location.

I bought this to use to run a fan to keep my solar controller bay in the RV cool. It works great. I attached a fan to the "load" side and purchased a dedicated on/off switch. I programmed it so that the fan would turn on in the solar controller bay when the temperature reached 33C. Works great! There are 2 setups for attaching a load. One looked simpler than the other, but wouldn't work for me. I had to use the first setup.

I installed this temperature controller inside my self built home generator to monitor and switch a heavy velocity radiator fan 10 amps 12 volts on, to control heat buildup. It preformed perfectly as described. This controller held up for 4 months average to 6.7 hours at different times generator was needed and during a couple test runs. The last time I test run the generator, it failed to come on during engine run time.I assume this device is the same as the digital RPM display I purchased and went through 3 of them one right after the other. I discovered that although the manual claims to operate on 12 volts. That maybe true under certain conditions. The temperature controller states that it will function up to 14 volts. In order to correct the failure I had to install a 9 volt regulator in line with the RPM counter and a 12 volt regulator for the temperature controller. Both regulators have over voltage protection so if the regulators are damaged due to over voltage they shut down.I strongly recommend voltage regulators on devices that are installed where an alternate charging system provides power to keep battery charged.Other than this issue Ive ordered 2 more of the temperature controllers and 2 of the RPM counters for spares. If they continue to fail, I will have no other option but to find another product that will preform and last.

First, if you have other probes in your liquid at the same time, this can be effected. Second and more importantly, the measurement fluctuates so much that it will have this turning on/off all the time no matter how you set it. If you change the return difference to try and make it turn on off less, it doesn’t help because as soon as you increase the return difference it fluctuates more. Example:Say you want 68 degrees cooling, but you don’t want this thing flipping on/off many times a second, so you make the return difference 1, 2, maybe 3 degrees, aka so let’s say 3 degrees, it will cool til 68, then turn off and won’t turn on til 71. Sounds good right, it won’t turn on/off a million times every million. WRONG!!!!!What happens is as soon as you increase to 3 degrees, the measurement starts fluctuating by approx 3 degrees, so it will say 68, then one second later 71, and bounce around between those two with many different readings changing all the time very fast, SO IT WILL STILL TURN ON/OFF MANY TIMES A MINUTE. THIS WILL WEAR OUT THE RELAY AND I DONT EXPECT IT TO LAST LONG!!!!
