These are great lights for my bar that I built. I would not recommend them for your kitchen as they are not real bright. For what I'm using them for they are perfect. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars and not 5 is, one of my 12 lights doesn't work. Also they fit very tight in the rails. Just pay attention to they way they go in and take your time placing them. Nice product and I love the color change with the remote.

Wish I could give these a 3.5 instead of a three. I don't think they deserve a 3 or a 4 but in the middle. The reason is that they are not very bright at all for one. You need all of them to light up a room. And you cannot adjust the brightness in any color but full white. This is horrible when you have bright flashing lights for Christmas while watching TV. It actually starts to give you a headache on full bright with flashing colors.I need two of these pointing at any direction to be able to decently read by. And they burn a lot of power compared to other lights which are brighter.Their listing says they use 10 watts in one place and they say 12 in another. Either way these use about 80 - 100 Watts of power to barely light up an average room.They give you two remote controls but you cannot set the lights independently. Its all or nothing.The good part is that they are fun to play around with in the evening while watching TV or relaxing. For Christmas they are the perfect thing with the flashing colors. Love the colors. Just wish I could dim these. I will have to get an external light dimmer.
