Use the white side up in climates with sustained temperatures over 85 Degree F climates to prevent young seedlings from dying; or in contrast, in cooler climates, use the black side up to help warm the soil to stimulate growth.

I can never have enough of these items laying around because I’m always planting something in my boxes. Unfortunately can’t buy them locally so I have to depend on Amazon and other sources to get the proper size to fit my boxes. Items came on tie and the description was spot on what probably up order a few more in the near future.

Not a chance of fitting over my Earthbox. I thought I'd ordered the Junior size by mistake, but the label says Root and Veg.
