cuttler hammer arc fault breaker are the best. you get way less tripping than with the competitions breakers.

My original order arrived in time for a small electrical project but when installed by a professional electrician, the trip test button failed to trip the breaker and only made it buzz! I requested a replacement through Amazon return and it was replaced promptly! Could not have been easiet!

I learned that the1990's vintage Challenger power panel in my home had Cutler-Hammer GFCI breakers installed that can be a fire hazard. For this reason I replaced the existing Cutler-Hammer GFCI breaker with a new Eaton smart breaker for the following rationale. My research confirmed that Cutler-Hammer acquired Challenger and Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer. Thus, Eaton is the appropriate legally correct OEM manufacturer for insurance purposes (important). I researched performance ratings on the Eaton GFCI breakers and was pleasantly surprised. The new Eaton GFCI breakers are now smart devices and are self diagnosing. One of the articles also stated that Eaton warranty's their smart breakers for life so if they fail simply contact Eaton to get a free replacement (this guarantee is not printed on the accompanying documentation, but it is positive). Installation for electrical power trained professionals is very straight forward and on start-up the breaker runs its own diagnostic test to prove it is operating correctly. In the event there is an issue, the breaker will diagnose it for you. Make sure you keep the documentation that has the codes that provide the specific problem causing any given issue. You can't get better than that ! That being said - don't just install an Eaton product until you confirm that it is the legally and technically compliant with the specific panel it is being installed in.

Doesn't have a neutral wire. Bought and can't use it and can't return it because we didn't try to install it right away and now outside of the return window. Garbage product and description. Wasted money on Amazon once again. One star only because I have to give it a star.

Highly recommended and easy to install if you’re comfortable dealing with electricity in the panel. If you aren’t familiar with this process it is even more highly recommended you hire a qualified electrician. Product is working perfectly and provides peace of mind with the Eaton, Cutler hammer quality one has grown to expect
