I bought this to replace another metal frame pack and feel in love with it. It's a little hard adding things that aren't part of the system but amazing all around.

Awesome pack. Been looking at this for awhile, finally decided to get it and haven't been disappointed. Set it up for whatever you need.

We love this pack frame. It is super comfortable even when packing a heavy load. My husband would steal it any time he had the chance until I bought him his own!! There are only a handful of accessories that pair directly with it, but you can strap just about anything to this even if it isn’t the designated accessories. I love the batwing bags for day trips and have a larger 40L pack for overnight trips.

This is the future. 14 years in the Military and my first lightweight pack from this company blows away anything the Military has ever issued me. As an Infantryman and someone who works in the private sector I was raised to do a lot of Rucking, this Frame allows me to customize my load out to be mission specific. The clips work for almost all my gear including my micro rig which was a total surprise. Now I can click all my shit I’m not actively using onto my pack when I’m moving and remove what I need when I hit the ORP instead of feeling like I’m wearing the equivalent of SWAT gear on a ruck march. I was able to hook up exactly what pouches I needed and the sky is the limit as far as options. The laser cut is very Rigid for the MOLLE and the material is of a higher quality than any laser cut MOLLE I’ve used in the past and I’ve been using a laser cut plate carrier for 10 years (I really thought it would break but never did, not a single cut overstretched or tore, science..) I’m a believer.

I use this pack to get my cardio workout. I have 50 lbs of weight on it and it holds the weight easily and is comfortable to wear. On my old pack, the shoulder straps dug into my shoulders and cut off my circulation, so I got a numb, tingly "needles" feeling in my fingers. With this pack, the weight is distributed more on the hips and so I can comfortably hike with more weight for longer distances. The narrow frame is also good b/c it doesn't restrict my arm movements and I don't feel the pack on my back that much. ~ JT

I have owned and tested a lot of Eberlestock gear and sometimes they overthink stuff and this at times this comes across in the gear. however this is by far the best exception to this i have seen, after a few little mods to suit my use i have a great tool. if your really carrying lots of weight (meat ect) then this is worth a look. I alpine hunt and this has become my friend in the hills.

This pack carries very well. I'm 62, 6' at 173 lbs and mostly hike and backpack solo. This pack allows me to tailor my load to the type of excursion and season. The strap system allows me to secure any type of load in any configuration I need. As an external frame it provides excellent structure to the load with a slight cost of extra weight.I uses a 41 quart Rubbermaid industrial waste basket as my main pack basket and carry my sleep system in a 30 liter dry bag at the base of the load. In camp I can take all that off and haul whatever needs hauling. I can also empty the basket and use it to fetch kindling and/or water as needed. I purchased a 20 liter pack cover at REI which is held down with 1" web lashings to cover the basket and protect the contents.I'm very pleased with this pack. One recommendation I have is to purchase the extension straps in case one needs to carry something with a bit more girth (perhaps a 50 liter dry bag in winter?)

I was looking for a frame pack to use as a Daypack/Meat Hauler for hunting ELk and Mule Deer in the High Country and this pack is what I would have designed if I could have. This Frame Pack is the best on the market. I carried out portions of 3 Elk high in the Colorado Rockies this last week and this is as good as it gets (unless you have a horse). The Frame is thin so you have full range of motion with your arms and the shoulder and waist pads are very comfortable even with over 100 lbs in it.I am a sucker for modularity and this pack allows you a few options for the main bag or you can just roll with it as a frame pack. I used the Eberlestock Dry Bag with it and found it to be a fantastic combination. It is also quiet.I would buy this again.
