I was hoping that these would be a viable solution for the light in my tent as I don't otherwise need "D" batteries. However they do not work. I was able to get the light to flicker on a couple times, but it immediately shut off after. I'm not sure what it is about the design that is inadequate, but I ended up having to purchase standard "D" batteries instead.My reason for purchasing the EBL adapters o er an alternate choice was because their rechargeable batteries are phenomenal. So much so that I have purchased enough of their rechargeables to ensure that I no longer have a need to buy standard batteries.

Works great! My fav flashlight takes "C" batteries but I do not want to shell out the monies all the time. I have plenty of "AA" for everything else!

Works really well. I am glad to have purchased this product. However, it is important to BE AWARE that the reason the AAs are held in place so accurately & so firmly with in this adapter is because there are little (what I will call) AA battery 'rib supports.' These are easily seen down inside. I found these 'rib supports' to be a little tight, at first, making it challenging to get the AA batteries to slide into place. This, for me, was easily overcome by gently pushing back on the 'rib supports' a little tiny bit with a screwdriver. Wanted you to know.

About battery cell adapters.....Adapters such as these are simply a sleeve to center an AA cell in a compartment sized for a larger C cell. In order to work, the contacts on the device must be able to meet with the smaller diameter ends of an AA cell. Several other reviewers mention this. With an AA cell in hand, you can generally "eyeball" whether this will work by inspection before purchasing. For spring loaded devices, pushing in the adapter with its AA cell will sometimes result in the AA cell pushing through the sleeve. With multiple cells end to end, this can be a frustrating task. This can sometimes be corrected by wrapping some tape around the AA cell to increase the friction.If you can get this system to work, there are other considerations. An AA cell usually can't provide the amperage of a C cell so, some devices may deliver neither the brightness nor volume, etc. expected. Other devices may not work properly at all. Also, an AA cell can't provide the amp-hours that a C cell does thus, operating times may be shorter. I use these adapters with non-rechargeable Lithium AA cells (or, AAA cells, see below) in my seldom used equipment such as an emergency radio or lighted precision reticle since the Lithium cells are less prone to leakage, over time, than alkali batteries are, and, to my knowledge, are not available in C size yet. It seems the non-rechargeables are only available in AA, AAA, and 9v. While contact alignment is not generally the issue, size may be. If the device using C cell compartment is tight from a diameter perspective, sometimes these adapters, with a full capacity of 4 AAA cells, will not fit or, will get jammed and difficult to remove. These adapters also introduce a third metal to the circuit. There is now the additional risk that different metals in contact with each other (essentially forming a "battery" in their own right) will begin an electrochemical reaction resulting in oxidative corrosion. Again, your mileage will vary.Both of these adapters have their function and purpose. They may well work for you.Hope this helps.

not sure if I would trust these in something that gets jostled around a lot. But works great for something stationary. Great way to utilize the rechargeable AA batteries that are more commonly used while avoiding buying C batteries when you only need them once in a blue moon

最初に来たときに普通に単三電池を入れてみました。しかし単三電池の+部分の突起が出ずに電源が入らない状況でした。この辺は説明書が欲しかったですね。単三電池を思いっきり押し出すと突起がロックされるシステムになってるので購入される方は参考にしてください。ロックもかなり重く押さないとダメです。

I have 2 snow globes I place in my entertainment center every Christmas. I would have to change the batteries multiple times throughout the holidays. This changed all that they worked great no more changing out the batteries! I would definitely recommend!

They don't seem to hold the battery firm enough so that the battery can slip off the contact termials in the device. They seemed like a good solution to replacing a C size battery in a older device that we didn't want to have to purchase a entire pack of batteries for one battery. Especially a device we don't use very often. I made it work but just keep in mind, you might need to shore up the connections and it may not work very well in a device that is subject to a lot of movement during use.

変換して使えるなら便利だと思い充電器のセットと一緒に購入しましたが使えませんでした。ただ使う機械の相性かと思いガスコンロ、おもちゃ、懐中電灯など色々試しましたが、どれも使えず残念な結果となりました。単三と単一では出力が違うのかサイズの変換だけではダメなのだと思いました。
