I had the older model and the flush mechanism goes out every 5 years. This year I couldn’t find the handle for the old model and had to order the whole kit. It swapped out easy and works great.

This unit has only one flush volume instead of the 2 flush volumes of the Eco Flush, but it works reliability now. The only issue was getting the inlet fitting through the hole in the Mansfield tank.I wound up feeding a string through the hole and tying it to the fitting, then guiding the fitting into the hole by pulling on the string, while lowering the assembly into the Mansfield tank.

Don't call their 800 number, they never answer the phone or respond to voice messages. The owner has apparently instructed his help to respond only to internet inquiries. The parts they offer to retrofit their device only match the latest and greatest version.Older mechanisms are out of luck. However the newer ecoflush device does works better than the older version (good for 8-10 years).Bought mine through Amazon.I recommend that you do the same.

They fixed the inlet valve, redesign to eliminate the weak joints. Installation was very clear and simple.I was slightly disappointed that it is only single flush. Just Glad to have it fixed.

Likely one of the worst items I have ever purchased. Did all of the research to make sure if would replace the B8100 I had (that was leaking internally), only to find out it leaks horribly from tank seal. After numerous tries, had to et a plumber who advised throwing out the new seal that came with unit and put in correct item. Also handle would absolutely NOT FIT, hoses hit bladder and could not be installed. So after $215 in plumbing costs, I still have a toilet that does not flush. Piece of crap. Save your money and buy something wlse.

Beware Gerber replacement: everything goes smoothly till you get to flush handle installation.Engineers didn’t leave enough room to install the new handle between the bladder and the tank wall.I had to shave a few threads off the handle spud just to get it installed( forcibly).Make sure to use sharp knife if your install doesn’t have enough room to get past the bladder into tank hole, a saw will cause to much damage to the handle spud. (It’s all plastic)All in all it works as originally designed except the dual flush is no longer an option, the new unit only flushes in a downward motion.(1.6 gal)Experience in the plumbing field almost 40 years, installation of this replacement bladder was quite frustrating.New parts should fit without alteration to get positive outcome!Might be better to install the Sloan Flushmate 503 bladder, probably much less frustrating.

Hi! I am not a plumber, but I learned a few things about installing this unit that I would pass along so that only one us us suffers the learning curve. This was a replacement in a Crane Bigfoot toilet. The combination works well together. So onto installation tips. (I kept having leaking issues, so I did this several times.)First, the handle control unit is extremely difficult to mount if you've already screwed the main unit to the tank. My suggestion is to line up the main unit with the tank opening, maybe even engaging a thread or two. But while the main unit is loose in the tank, put in the handle control unit and screw it down.Next, my leak issues. For all the world, it looked like this unit was leaking at the water input. But all of those fittings are pressure gasketed. (I had extra to deal with as I have a bidet seat. Highly recommended.) Yet there was water dripping down the lines, so what gives? It turns out that because this is a pressurized system, you have water leaking from the water feed to the bowl upon the flush! The first source was easy to find. I did not tighten down the tank mount bolts very much. When I took them off, they were little more than finger tight. No, tighten them with a wrench, but be gentle. The second leak was much more frustrating, but the answer is that you need to tighten the water intake port with a wrench as well. It also was finger tight, and common sense tells you that the hose connection is gasketed, and should not be leaking. ( I bought a new intake hose to prove it.) But apparently, this unit generates enough pressure that the bowl cannot accept all of the water at once, and so the excess goes into the bottom of the tank for a brief period, and then exits. Again, be gentle, but firmly wrench the nut on the intake, drawing the gasket into the hole. The unit now functions fine. I don't like tightening nuts on porcelain if I don't have to, but save yourself some grief here. Oh, and a plumber quoted me somewhere between $350 and $500 for this repair, so do it yourself!
