Survived a week-long power outage in the middle of summer in Houston (thanks Beryl!) and ordered this so I'd have something I could power via my gas generator to cook dinners. You don't realize you need these things until the whole city loses power and all of the restaurants & stores are closed. This fit the bill nicely. Two burners of different sizes, accurate heating, and can sit on the countertop while you're using it. Just another cog in the preparedness wheel. Works great, price is reasonable, doesn't take up a lot of space...good product at a reasonable price!

With the holidays soon on the horizon, I decided this year to look into finding a portable burner that can aid in getting all my dishes completed on time. I did some research and was hoping to find a double burner. After searching a bit, I found this one at the ECOTOUCH store. From what I could discern this looked like a fantastic solution with my upcoming celebrations.I ordered this and now that I've got this home, I am elated at the quality and the performance of this electric cooktop double burner. This has the option to be used "in" the countertop or setting on top of the counter. I definitely like that they opted to design it this way, so simple to set up and has made cooking large meals so much simpler. Below, I will outline some of the other features that appealed to me, thus leading me to choose this one over other similar ones on the market.*Design: Double Burner - 12" - Portable cooktop- Plug in- Camping- @Home- Tailgating -Graduations*Function: 110V-120V- works as it should. Push to turn knobs lets you control the temperature much better*Materials: Stainless Steel*Safety: indicator light warns when the surface is not safe to touch (hot)*1.2m Power cord*Compatibility: this works with all cookware*Top: ceramic glassAll in all, I find that the designer did very well in creating this simple to use and store this cooktop burner. i definitely am glad that I decided to go with the dual burner. It makes a big difference. I did not find any defects or damage to the unit. Therefore, based on an excellent experience- I would recommend this to o the consumers. I was hoping it would be a great addition to my small kitchen. Unfortunately, it has been somewhat disappointing. The ceramic glass design looks sleek and fits well on my countertop, but the performance has not met my expectations.Firstly, the heating elements are not as powerful as I had hoped. It takes a long time to heat up and doesn't seem to distribute the heat evenly, which makes cooking a meal a bit frustrating. I've tried boiling water and simmering sauces, and both tasks took longer than they should.Additionally, the durability of the cooktop is a concern. After just a few uses, I've noticed that the glass surface is prone to scratching, despite being careful with my cookware. This raises questions about how it will hold up over time with regular use.While it's compact and aesthetically pleasing, the lack of effective heating and concerns about durability make it hard for me to recommend this electric cooktop. It might work for occasional use or in a setting where cooking demands are minimal, but for regular cooking, it's a bit of a letdown.

We got this just because it came up and we usually host one or two major holidays a year and more burners is always better. But we decided this would work FANTASTIC on our deck and patio table, where we could use this on top for hot chocolate at night and fondue with marshmallows. This is FANTASTIC for that! Very surprised and obviously you can't leave it outside or use it outside if it is going to rain, but it was very easy to set up and then use outside. We ended up really enjoying this product and a family member is going to get another now.We will also use this outside for parties when we need hot cider or other warm foods because having two burners outside sometimes is more practicable then just using the grill -- which can be dangerous when there are multiple kids around at the party. Thus, this was fantastic and we are very happy with it. We recommend this to people who like to spend time outside in the fall or people who host holidays to have an extra set, and you can probably also use it to make sauce outside too!

The ECOTOUCH 2 Burner Electric Cooktop is a handy addition, especially for smaller spaces like a camper. I placed it on top of my gas furnace with the glass top closed, and it works perfectly in that setup. It’s portable and easy to use, making it a convenient alternative to a gas stove.I tested it with a timer, and while it’s slightly slower than a traditional stove burner, it still boils water without much trouble. The slower heating isn’t a dealbreaker, especially since it avoids heating up the entire camper like a gas stove can. It’s a great option for those looking for an efficient and practical electric cooktop.Overall, I’m pleased with how it works, and it’s been a useful upgrade for my camper kitchen!

Works just like our glass top electric rangeWife got for me to do my frying outside.....It has held up well most of the summer even with forgetting it and leaving it outside a few times.Cleans up very easily much better than cleaning a oven top.
