We couldn't find a replacement dust pan in Walmart for a month. Simply ordered it on Amazon. A good product. It doesn't fit the broom handle like the original did. The rubber edge creates such a better lip when sweeping up.

Our first one lasted 12 years!When my husband and I got married, someone gave us this dustpan. After 5 kids, our dustpan had seen better days. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one this sturdy and with this great lip to get that very last bit of dirt when sweeping. When I found it on Amazon last week, I got more excited than a person should about a dustpan... but like I said: five children.

Yeah, I'm a little OCD when it comes to my home being clean and tidy. I've had dustpans that scattered crumbs and dirt over an even larger area when just trying to sweep a tiny mess onto the device and do I really want to pull out the cannister vac for a 4x4" mess? This dustpan has a great design: it is naturally at the perfect angle to easily sweep crumbs or dirt safely into the upper well without requiring an engineering degree or 30 minutes of effort. It's also sturdy yet lightweight. This is one of those small household items that doesn't seem an "important" choice at the time of purchase but makes itself indispensable after just a few uses. A+.

Many years ago we bought a dustpan from Jeff Campbell’s Clean Team. It was solid and, most importantly, had a rubberized edge lip that really helped with getting all the debris up. We have looked all over the place to find a suitable new one since the other got broken. This is exactly what we wanted. It is a good manageable size and it has that rubberized lip. It works great. We also like the fact that it has a slight angle which allows it to get into unique places easier - right handed or left handed.

I won't ever need to buy another dustpan. It's heavy duty (but not heavy) if you get what I mean. Lightweight substantial plastic with a very thin edge which makes it easy to get all the dust and dirt up in a sweep or two. Its wide and deep and will hold a lot. Just what I need because sometimes I use a dustpan to gather leaves to put in the bag in the fall.I'm saying this is a great value.
