This came with wording on it even though it didn't show any wording anywhere in the description of this product or pictures of this product. As you can see in the picture pure acetone nail polish will take this off and I did not have to return. Buyer beware before buying.

I wanted to replace my worn-out plastic doorbell switch cover and they are not easy to come by anymore. This cover is all stainless and fit perfectly. I replaced the switch as well and I expect this cover to hold up well to the elements.Other reviewers mentioned having writing printed on the front, but mine was plain stainless, no writing.

I didn’t expect a hearing impaired message to be on this. I bought it for my garage. The letters aren’t removable.

This is a nice and solid doorbell plate. My Nutone doorbell button fit nicely. I had to use my old screws as the ones provided were too short…but not a big deal. I did purchase the silver but painted it to match my door hardware and fixtures.
