After upgrading my 71' Buick to LED lights all around, my turn signals no longer functioned. Apparently, since incandescent lights draw so much more current than LED's, the old-style turn signal and hazard light relays detect the lack of current as a problem and fail to operate properly. This electronic unit fixes that! This unit does not use current as a means of regulating the blinking of the bulbs, it is entirely electronic. Works great, I just hope they last. Make sure to connect the ground wire to a good ground for proper operation.

Used in 1990 Ford F-150 pickup. Old turn signal electronic flasher only partly worked when cold, and it had slow flash rate. When warm, nothing. I suspect the polarity of the two pins was reversed, but I did not want to get into rewiring its contacts. This had good reviews for working with lower current LED lamps, which I wanted to install soon for higher brightness. There was an easy connection to ground via the nearby fuse panel torx mounting screw, so this looked easier. It was. Plug it in, connect ground wire, turn ignition key and presto, turn signals working. What a relief. As others noted, it has an odd quirk: it clicks audibly twice after being switched off, but the signals don't flash so it's only a minor nuisance, not anything serious.I ordered my super bright LED lamps all around, including turn/brake lamps and headlights too. This flasher was the only one I found that fit my elderly 1990 truck (ROUND 2 pins) and that supported lower current, brighter LED turn signal lamps. These brighter lamps will be much safer, and I wish I had I installed this sooner.

i converted my 67 mustang and 92 wrangler to all LED bulbs and therefore needed to upgrade my flashers to electronic. this flasher was very well built and was easy to install. after several weeks of daily use i have had no problems what so ever. this was a direct fit replacement in both vehicles. installing the ground wire which was more than long enough (about 5 inches) to reach an existing ground on the mustang the the body on the jeep was easy and insures proper function unlike the last electronic i bought at a parts store that did not work properly and only intermittently worked. i highly recommend not only converting to LED bulbs but this style flasher for ease of use and reliablilty.

Stop, this is the only flasher you need . Do not believe the hype of the other flashers that state that they can be used for LED or incandescent or mixture of both I got caught up in the trap . I bought these, plug them in, hooked them both to ground since I have a 1967 Chevelle and it takes two of these flashers one for the turn signals and one for the emergency flashers since I’m running all LED lights now for the turn signals. They work perfectly. I installed a set of these on my 1969 Cyclone to upgrade to LED tail lights. And out of the gate they worked fantastic. Weeks later I heard a faint clicking sound and discovered that the turn signal flasher was cycling continuously with no actual load. I switched the two and got the same result. In the end, I had pull the wires out of the turn signal socket and reverse them which is what I was trying to avoid by choosing this model. Not a huge deal, just unexpected. Other than that, and the fact that they tend to click a few extra times without illumination after the signal is cancelled , they work great.

Works great! I used this on my 1987 Heritage Softial because I had added LED lights. Custom Dynamics wanted me to add additional load balancers and I had already gone through the process of connecting one, but it didn't quite work correctly. Instead, a mechanic told me to purchase this Turn Signal LED adapter instead and it indeed worked.Note: this Turn Signal Adapter will produce a "clicking" sound for a couple seconds after the turn signal cancels, but you will only know if your cycle is not running. Make sure you have a solid ground connection or else you will have a problem and have to reground this a bit better. Also, this was a little larger in diameter than the OEM square unit I had replaced. I suggest wrapping an old piece of bicycle inner tube around this unit to protect it from vibrating in-between the fuel tanks on the bike.

Works as expected. I didn't experience the extra flashes as described by other reviewers. I was actually looking forward to this and would have considered this a "feature" rather than a flaw. My newer pickup does that and I like it. I can just touch the turn signal without locking it on and it flashes 3 times then turns off. This flasher does click a couple of times but does not make the turn signals flash at all. (i.e. it works properly as needed) I bought this unit instead of the other option because it would work regardless of the polarity of the wiring in the vehicle. It may not have been an issue but why take the chance for a $2.00 difference? You have to ground the included wire to ground for it to work. The flasher is taller than the original which caused me some problem but not the fault of the unit, just how the manufacturer made the dash panel cover clearance.
